Love this. I've watched it so many times. I just got my tenori-on two days ago, and came back again to see how it was done. Gotta say, it's not difficult to get the beat and the basic patterns going, but it takes a lot to handle the different "blocks" and keep it all together with the singing. I'm still not sure how she's doing a lot of it - for example, the basic pattern is transposed up and down, but the top "ping-pong" (on beats 8 and 1) stays in the same key. Brilliant handling of it!

@PaulMdx Sorry it's taken me so long to reply! I watched another Little Boots video today, where she said that the Tenori-On is like a really expensive executive toy. Everyone wants one, but it's not cheap, not something that you're you're gonna rush out and buy. I'd say that I had a little too much money to burn the month I bought mine... I've played with it a bit, but I can't imagine that I'm ever going to use it live. I love it, but it's definitely a luxury item, not a necessity.

These were under £500 when they first got released, There over £800. Yamaha are taking the mickey with the exchange rate...bit shameless really. I guess they did so they could sell the cheaper version for £500 which is stil alot for what at the end of the day is a groovebox with a grid seq.
