The mosque has nothing whatsoever to do with Solomon's Temple. There is no evidence nor reason for this, it is merely a reason for religious people to fight. IF there was a temple at that site it is merely a Roman temple that has its only Biblical significance to the time of Jesus, which is significant, but in actuallity it has NOTHING to do with the Hebrew Bible. The temple that was there was built LONG after the book of Malachai, and thus has nothing to do with Old Testament prophecy.

Neither temple existed on the "mount" as the temple on the mount was of Roman construction and original. The Temple Mount has very little to do with the Jewish prophecy of the rebuild. It is just a point to argue for political people.

Those books are actually "commentaries" on the Holy Books people should be reading. Interestingly, the Koran seems in many ways to be a commentary or an attempt to rewrite the Bible as well.
