@SaskSven Think about it this way, Nintendo ran out of facial features so they changed the eyes, that and white pikmin have built in radars, they can see underground. Therefore, if new pikmin species r made, it will be something like facial hair, scars, or wrinkles.

Btw, the only pikmin species that I think dont have a use for 4 the their facial features r the red & purple pikmin. Water I mean is that a blue's mouth is gills, yellow's ears r 4 higher jump, & white's eyes r 4 sonar/radar.

Yes, there is, don't you see the sun thingy at the top of the screen? if you played pikmin 1 you would know that the sun thingy is a timer, its noon when the sun reaches the middle and when the sun reaches the end you've got to go back up to orbit. Hope that helps!

In Pikmin 2, you have unlimited days.
