ok if your were to make a gettting back to basics you should have only trick jumping tactics which means that there should be no rockets and no nades and absolutely not invulnerability. because rocket jumping didnt come around till much later and i like to think of the over use of such tactics the cause of a fall in popularity for trick jumping because a lot of people were turned off when they started to do stuff that they couldnt do unless they had invulnerability

First of all, wtf is "unboring" supposed to mean? L4D2 and L4D1 are both great games, better than any call of duty game. Call of Duty is that one not-so-great game that keeps coming back every single year to take another sixty bucks out of each codfag's pocket for pretty much the exact same thing since the series was created.

They are both great games and you cant say one is better than the other cause its too close, sure MF2 is more "realistic" but thats what some gamers like.
