I didn't see the whole review but when the first line came out of that douche bag's mouth, I'm shocked, those first 2 games are a part of every childhood years and what the that 4 eyes duck face said it was boring, boring of what? the fact that sonic can spin and run fast that's boring for ya, why not make a game about sonic in a horror TPS game, about that..
In my review of this review I have concluded that this was even crappier than the first one. It just got shittier and shittier. In fact, each sentence seemed more frustrating than the last.
This is definitely a reaction to the bad comments in their previous review. I had hoped that in this review they'd step it up and play it the entire way through rather than trying to get back at the people who commented on the previous review. Instead they threw away logic and subjectivity, and gave into rabid fanboyism and hatred.
I wasn't saying Sega sucks--Sega is a great company--I'm just saying your reasoning is flawed, if you're using their success during the console wars to defend your argument, because they aren't even around to participate in console wars anymore.

Um...Right. I was on Nintendo's side during the console wars of the 90s, but I like Sonic (Sonic 2 I think is the best) and I do respect your opinion. And the save feature, for the Genesis games I have played at my friend's house they all seem to lack a save feature which baffles me to no end.

I think I might get your complaint regarding the levels, that it feels more of a palette swap rather than something really new.

Okay, the tails part is indeed shit, and multiplayer does feel tacked on. If sonic runs ahed and tails gets off screen you auto-die etc etc.

It's painfully obvious after watching this review that these two people don't know their asses from a hole in the ground. Camera issues that don't exist (hence no footage of said issue), 2-player functionality that isn't even shown (which is because their complaints are bullshit), and bad music? I bet they consider the dub theme of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl to be an epic masterpiece.

What the fuck are you guys smoking? Single player game? It's obvious that Sega was going for multiplayer aspects with Sonic 2. And what problems with the camera? It's a side view game, not a polygonal game. There isn't going to be any camera issues, because cameras didn't move and rotate back then. Everything looks the same? Bullshit there. Back in the day, this was only the second time this sort of thing was done, and it was improved vastly from the first game.

Mario and Sonic both rule. Though i really like Sonic better then Mario, Mario isn't bad. He has some great games, like Galaxy and Super Mario Brothers 1, 2 and 3. So Mario and Sonic BOTH are so cool.

Running fast as hell through loop-da-loops and spinning in 360 degrees while destroying more then 20 diffrent types of robots doesn't appeal to you but you'd rather walk 2 miles per hour jumping constantly on the same enemies in the mario series? on sonic 2 and sonic 3 you can select it in the options to not play with tails,
if you had thought about it a bit more you might have realised the inclusion of tails was because sonics rival mario had a number of extra playable characters.
dont get me wring i dont mind bad reviews but if the reviewers just sit there and say "well.. erm.. its shit"

I agree the levels are a little repetative but the amount of games that were out in 1992 were limited and most of them were repetative.
As for the music? The music varies from
different time signatures,tempo's and genre's from the bouncy pop theme of the emerald hill zone to the swing jazz of the casino night zone.
Sonic 2 was the megadrives biggest selling game,
if you two are going to continue to review games both classic and new then maybe you need to expand your vocabulary

I hope you liked my artwork of the middle finger to you. Anyway, once again, you're wrong about Sonic. I don't like Tails that much, but his controls work just fine. And I don't see much difference between this and Sonic 1 other than different stages, spin dash, Tails, and new bonus stages. Other than that, Sonic pretty much plays the same, so that's good.

Um...Right. I was on Nintendo's side during the console wars of the 90s, but I like Sonic (Sonic 2 I think is the best) and I do respect your opinion. And the save feature, for the Genesis games I have played at my friend's house they all seem to lack a save feature which baffles me to no end.

oh and thanks for your pm, I forgot all that crap in the lost levels which I even reviewed like invisible blocks, bad level design to make powerups hinder you by putting the fire sticks and whatnot impossible to dodge unless you're small and the green trampolines and of course getting stuck in 7-4. I think I might get your complaint regarding the levels, that it feels more of a palette swap rather than something really new.

been a long time since you last done a review. You guys must really hate tails. I didn't find a camera an issue with tails since he'd just come back automatically. What made sonic 3 bad though besides maybe the barrel of doom? I do disagree with your review but I think it's ridiculous how people'll just flame you to make themselves feel better. I don't understand why you think the level design is bad; you can see the platforms, unlike taz-mania for genesis.
