i love the japanese for keeping the original names on all of our cartoon characters, keeping them recognisable, at least trying to: kuristoffa, rabbitto, pigulettu - when they could have easily been replaced
@Nenayahe Yeah :) They didn't butcher this and change a bunch of things, including names...like we (America) did to half their stuff (coughcoughSailorMooncoughcough)
Actually faa is also two "syllables" (or morae, actually): fa-a. Just like double consonants. For example, the word chitchai (or chicchyai in the description) is divided chi-t-cha-i. The lone consonant is often pronounced as the vowel before it in songs, which makes it sound like chi-i-cha-i. But sometimes they contract two "syllables" in one note, like in this song, making it chit-chai.
you wana know wats weird just one kid in 1981 or wenever it was made this fictional character couple years later tv show more years later in a game with final fantasy and other random character:P

It is amazing that children all over the world love Winnie the Pooh, and the number of languages he's been translated to.

i agree, but they do pronounce the syllables correctly, and they're entitled to use 'n' as a syllable. the sylables are ku ri su to faa ro bi n.
