  • hi,will this radiator that you changed in the video fit in a 94 2wd s10 with a 4.3 vortec motor

  • @hondabeatsyamaha Here's a link to them on our website for your year. It would just matter if it was a manual or an automatic. Hope this helps you out.1aauto.com/1A/Radiators/Chevy/S10-Pickup/-/-/1994?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=youtube&utm_campaign=1ATony

  • @1aauto thank you your videos are very helpful

  • I figure it out after i wrote, someone replace lower shroud bolts with bolts and locking nuts that were rusted so bad they were trying to seize, undoing the line near the radiator cap so the shroud would move and removing the fitler box i was able to get a 1/2" breaker bar on top of lower bolts and a 3/8 " ratchet and deep socket on the lower nuts and a 1/2" breaker bar on top and it took all my muscle, the bar was trying to seize all the way to the end and yes WD-40 on them. The shroud is out.

  • what do you do when the lower shroud nuts spins with the top of the long bolts and the clutch fan hex nut wont release, i held it with a screw driver on one side and put a 15 " cresent on it with a 2 foot pipe over the cresent handle and it still wouldnt give, it a zr2 , 2002

  • @woof216 You may have to put some tension on the fastener that the screw goes into. You should be able to leave the fan attached as we did in this video. Hope this helps you out.

  • The new radiator came with new fittings for the oil and tranny lines but you didn't use them, did you find any problems with leaks later in the weeks fallowing the replacement? just wondering, I have to do my radiator soon it has a small leak on the driverside tank of the rad where the upper oil line hooks up but i don't have the tool to unhook and put in the new fittings any thoughts or advice?

  • @hammond1524 If the fittings on the oil cooler lines are fine and in good shape, you can reuse them.

  • you guys are great for showing us weekend mechanics how to do some work on our vehicles.

  • I have a small 4 cylinder s10 xtreme and the radiator is messed up and it is almost a joke to see how small it is I wanted to know if a radiator from a v6 s10 would fit on it?

  • @nyunn2 I'm not aware of any modifications that you may or may not have to make to make it fit correctly.

  • @1aauto it is a completely stock 2000 regular cap s10 xtreme with a small intake other than that it is all original.

  • @nyunn2 We might be able to get a stock replacement for it, but as far as upgrading to the bigger V6 radiator. I'm not sure what would need to be modified (if anything) to get it to fit correctly.

  • omg my radiator broke today and it was bad i was driving and i accelerated and smoke came from my hood i opened and the radiator had a crack i dont know what happen, so tommorrow ill buy one and replaced myself that should save me some money, thank you for all the great videos.

  • You guys should do a transfer case video on the s10 or blazer, there is almost NO transfer case removal videos!!! Thanks for all the other great chevy videos, they have helped me a lot!

  • @theskybreakers123 Thanks for the tips!!

  • Great video, your an awesome guy,

    thanks man !

  • Thanks men , i got a chevy s10 and this video helped me to change my antfereeze

  • Cheers for the video, if I was in American I'd buy some parts from you just to say thanks :). Used some good info from this video to change my radiator in a my Camry.

  • i had the same problem getting the little plug off to drain it

  • @Jesuscarrasco Yes it is usually faster just to slowly pull a hose off but it allows less control of where the coolant goes so make sure you have a large catch pan.
