This Tea Party movement scares me, not just because the faction itself is dubious but it means that there are actually a lot of people out there that suppose them.
Austrian economics is a cop-out. As economics is not a hard science, they say, people can't even try to use mathematics and the scientific method to determine the best economic policies. Therefore, they say, best to not even try and have an economic policy at all and have the laws of the jungle.

In fact just the other day I was debating a Austrian economic cult member and he told me that the best time in US history was the late 19th century and that child labor laws were ineffective and get this that child labor isn't a bad thing because he worked at a farm once and like it when he was a kid. These people are insane, almost as bad as the objectivist.
It's going to happen. The TP movement is going to blow this country to dust and bones. About time. We had good times and bad times. We did our best. Nothing lasts forever. The experiment failed because we grew stupid, lazy, callous and fat. We let everyone and everything lead us to slaughter. We the Corporation is now the new coun...I mean Company. USA Inc.

Dan Billings should shut his mouth. This tea party platform is the Republican Party and should always be the Republican Party GET IT SENATORS COLLINS AND SNOWE.
One more thing should be added. Communism is treason and should get you locked up in jail for 1 year.

Tea Baggers can use all the libertarian buzz words they want but it doesn't make them true libertarians. Tea Baggers are pro-war, anti-medical marijuana, anti-freedom of religion, and pro-patriot act. They seem to just be the typical right wingers. Very far from libertarianism.

The Libertarian platform of unregulated free markets, economic self preservation, and non government intervention looks good on paper, but in reality. It will never work. Not in a nation of 300 million plus. Libertarianism is "fool's gold".
You mind if I steal this from you and say its was my own? Great line. Libertarianism is very appealing because it makes all the problems of philosophy, ethics, economics and social welfare so simple. You can deal with all of those issue with one curt little paragraph or less. Its easy simple and completely wrong. I don't trust anyone that can solve all the worlds issues with a few simple axioms.
This country is annoying me. Every other proud nation conducts politics in a serious manner so that It can improve itself. This is just a childish farce.
its the first thing one of my econ professors would say on the first day of the semester in all of the classes she thought. or if you take biology. every professor at the start of the semester say "Evolution is real, no debate." this is done because sometimes the science class gets politicized, by the conservatives on campus(they're the majority of students, but not the majority of science students, not even econ really(libertarian), most are business students..
Freedom of religion DOSE mean freedom from religion, as in the good old days Atheists were burnt at the stack along side witches... who were just women that asshole neighbors.
Bennet of Utah is a RINO who voted for the porkulous bill and supported a form of ObamaCare.That's why he's out. We are killing off all the incumbent RINOS and DemoCrap in Nov. and replacing them with real conservatives. Bloodbath time.
