Hey lay off the guy!! I just submited my 60 film for empire having made it quickly in the past few days. It's harder than it looks making something so simple you know. You are aware this isn't the real Forrest Gump right? This was shot and compiled in a weekend, filmed in six hours off a handycam and edited the following day for a deadline of 9pm. We are not professionals by any stretch of the mark.

I'm sorry you wasted your time by watching it, we had a hell of a lot of fun making it.

I know it's a parody, and I could tell it was shot on a handycam, but even with the time constraints, you could have done a lot better. It's a lack of creativity, as opposed to a short deadline.

I'm all for constructive criticism but this is just being negative for negatives sake. How could we have done better, please could you elaborate? But then what gives you the right to tell us how to enjoy ourselves? Just because a video is on YouTube doesn't mean that it has to appeal to everyone. I'm concerned on how you came upon this video and then thought it so terrible that you needed to say something. What offended you so much that you thought, the world needs to see these comments?

here is your constructive criticism. you could have a: changed the dialouge to enhance the pivots instead of just reciting the highlights. b: use more

creative low bug efx rather than the boresome digital explosion. c: use better actors they

don't have to be professional but they have to evoke something even in a swede. all and all

i just don't think that you get micheal gondry's concept. It is not his really he just gave it a name. But it's more than just a cheap home movie...

Fair enough...but I'm not going to replace my friends with professional actors, where is the fun in that? The effects were what I had to hand, I'm no professional, I think that is clear. This also was a swede 2nd to being entered in the 'Done In 60 Seconds' comp. Sorry you didn't like it, everyone has an opinion.

yes the 60 second thing is tough indeed. If I were to swede I would most likely want 6-10 min to cover everything in a 2hr movie. I try to give credit where credit is due. terminator 2 lowbudgment day is may favorite youtube swede by a lot. you should check it out if you haven't seen it.

My main problem was that it was just boring. Nothing stuck out, not in terms of acting, wardrobe, angles, sound, editing, anything. It was very mediocre. You get an 'A' for effort but it's just not interesting.
