LOL You don't like ilum because they made it so you cant: (1) take your guild in its entirety (2) Spawn camp the graveyard (3) the empire is smarter and sends out stealth units to recap for more honor (4) you have too bring good players to stand a chance (5) the cheep tactic... that's right the 1 tactic that you use dose not work. A.K.A. bring overwhelming numbers. i have no sympathy for you and your guild. seeing as you just admitted that you cant do good without that tactic.

Got SWTOR for Christmas and while yes it is fun and I enjoy it and I cancelled my sub. Why? Simply put my system was struggling to run it and I also feel it will be a more enjoyable experience in a few months with bug fixes and gameplay additions. So I am enjoying WoW as I was before while SWTOR sits on the shelf maturing like a fine wine. I have faith the game will be allot better when I return to it. Loved the Video and looking forward to seeing you play both games more evenly in the future

Ok so (wow) was bad ass in its day but its old so moving on to (rift) it was fun till you cap 5 or so toons then your left with not much to do. Now (swtor) is still new so yea there goin be bugs but im sure they will fix em asap all in all its a good mmo with alot to do good story lines fun as hell pvp alot of missons and space misson to keep you busy not like (wow) where you hit a wall and feel like well what to do now? iv did everthing there is to do...

The initial hype/adoption period is over, as Towelliee said the first patch decided who stays and who goes.

1.1 was a "fire impression" for people, for many it did not deliver. It actually caused more bugs than fixing.

@MMOTotal - yes but all in all its still a new game and its fun to play as far as patchs go there always bugs in ever mmo ppl just need to hang in there and they will fix em i played wow and put up with alot of bad patchs neft ect... it happins in ever game its just the fact that wow only has 1 to 2 more xp tops.I loved rift but they didint think far nuff so when i hit 50 i was like wtf to do now as far as i can tell swtor has yet to make me feel that way there no wall to hit..

You made one major flaw in your comment, i will quote it

That right there is false because:

1. Blizzard have no said it which does not make it "fact'

2. Chris Metzen said they have the TIME and MONEY with this game to bring out a lot more expansion sets

The CEO of Blizzard said Titan will eclipse wow not replace it. So where are you getting this "only 1 or 2 more" from as from Blizzards perspective they have a lot of plans.

To further add, playing SWTOR has shown how good a work Blizzard has done and how much (as you said Towelliee) you appreciate World of Warcraft.

Glad to see your are balancing the content on the live stream Towelliee and not just being SWTOR focussed, ike a lot of people seem to think you have quit Warcraft.

To reply to "WJs6495" This is not the problem,the problem is Bioware have failed in the most basic areas of MMO design.

This gated system they have implmented is harming the game

People need to understand, the expectation of the consumer is different than back in 2004, nowadays we CARE about the bugs and will stop playing if we feel that the product is not of a standard.

This is NOT 2004 anymore, Bioware SHOULD of learned from Blizzards mistake back in the day but they didn't

They have failed in the most basic ways, this game was in testing for more than a year, the repeated "It's not bug free" yet so it's not ready.

When you compare WoW's launch back in vanilla to Swtor's launch there is no comparison. SWTOR wins hands down. WoW had just as many bugs, glitches, class issues, profession issues, dungeon issues, no raid content, no battlegrounds, the list goes on. SWTOR has a long way to go before its bug free and well balanced but, it's a incredible game for a launch title.

The Corsair H80 is a horrible cooler i have no idea why you went with this. Its not really watercooling. I Would replace the H80 with a Prolimatech Megahalems CPU Cooler and put two Akasa Apache Black Super Silent 120mm Fans on it.

Hm not offending you towel dude...but it sounds like you do not have any clue about pc-hardware and putting them together...give your new rig sum love :P...bluescreens on a fresh system...i would rebuild it over and over again until errything would run straight from the first start - incl drivers win7 install etc.And get rid of this CPU Fan...loud does not mean EFFECTIVE...btw the Fan sounds so highpitched sounds more like a small Graphic-fan maybe a driver without auto.fansupport? cheers

I love star wars. I stopped playing wow to play swtor, but my friends are broke ass and cant get systems to run swtor so I recently played wow to play some pvp with those friends and as I was pwning nubs i realized just how much i missed wow, like my macros and some addons my toons that I had for years and other little details. I just hope that 4 years from now I can have that same feeling with swtor.

@cortesdragon not gonna happen. SWTOR has no addon support at all (bioware just doesn't care about it, SWTOR has nothing for addon developers, compared to so much that u can do with blizzard's UI)

I'm not sure SWTOR will survive 4 years... but if you really like it go for it man

i had some problems with random crashes with my corsair ssd. i updated the force ware drivers and that fixed the whole thing.

new firmware on your ssd also make sure your video-card is not overclocked to high for when it gets to hot the drivers fail

Hey towelliee, your blue screen you mentioned can be caused from OCing. I can't remember if you said you were gonna pay the store to OC your CPU or if you were gonna do it. If you were gonna OC it yourself what you have to do to stability test your CPU is to run Intel burn test for about an hour or so without an error or a crash. If there is an error/blue screen/crash it because of a power problem. Make sure to have the load line calibration setting turned on first, then up the voltages.

WoW has phases all over cata. If people aren't on the same quest/lvl as you are in say Hyjal you cant see them at all. But ya of course you appreciate a 7 year old polished game vs a 30+ day old SWTOR most of us love old WoW
