the concert title is " Returns 1996"
becuase he felt like the concert was for all the times SM held him /HOT back. and some songs that he wrote from HOT days were performed so its like a time jump back.
1996 is Debut year for H.O.T.. ^ ^

its called 1996 because the concert has a theme to it. its heejun in way going back in time to share with the fans the music he wrote during HOT days. He sang a song called "Take It Fire" which he wrote for HOT during HOT days. but it was not allowed on their albums. So in a way like the concert s name returns 1996, it was like a return to 1996 HOT debut ^ ^
