It'll run really nicely. See, I've just bought myself 3 months ago the HP blackbird 002. It really is an amazing piece of equipment. It took me a lot of saving though.

good. crysis annoys me when it laggs. i can play high right now at about 30 to 45 fps on high. different places are more demanding than others and some places my computer doesnt have to try. my Phenom is at 3.0zghz and it passed prime 95 test and 6 hours of COD4 non stop and 3 hours of crysis non stop.

seriously? almost a 4870. well i looked at that iceq4 4850 and i might get it and xfire with the 4850 i have. i got a new mobo (TA790GX A2+) and i can xfire now. also got a phenom 9950.

You know what's sad? I can play this this well (with the additional fps the guy mentioned too) with a measly 9600GT. Mind you the rest of my pc is also better than his (not mocking, his pc is actually pretty sweet). THis game isn't quite the resources hog people claim, I can run on max if I'm willing to take a relatively minor cut in fps

yeah well, my processor is a piece of shit. i am getting a q6600 and an ASUS P5Q mobo so itll be much better then. And keep in mind im running on a crappy OEM motherboard made by ACER. lol.

man forget 1280 x 1024. go as high as you can. as high as your moniter can handle. All settings on ultra high. Your rig beats the shit out of mine right now.

Which do you recommend based on facts, not personal preference. 9800 gxt or the radeon cards?

i would recommend the 4850 or 4870. not personal preferance. I originally was gonna get a 9800GTX but i did some research and i liked the 4850 better. the 4850 is a single slot card where the 9800GTX uses 2. The 4850 and 9800GTX are neck and neck. In some games the 9800 outperforms the 4850 but in some the 4850. now the 4870 wipes out every nvidia card except the 9800GX2 and the 4870 x2 dosent have to try to beat that card. The 4870 x2:

2gb GDDR5

512 bit
