I had the pleasure to hang out and jam with Billy Bass Nelson on several occasions. One time I was at his place chillin' with a few other people and he pulled out a tape of Robert Johnson and put it on. I was real suprised! We wound up all having a conversation about the old time blues guys and how they influenced all the R&B, Funk and even Rock. These guys knew about their roots, something that is nearly forgotten today.
Just get on with the grease foot; lack frustration. She will thank you and the sliding will repay you. The only cure is to recognize the attachment and to stroke it. Perhaps there will be a day when we can all stroke it together. Stroke the grease foot. You stroke it and I'll slide it.
Shitty pop-songs from Black Eyed Peas and similar pop bands get 20 000 000 views and THIS awesome true music gets only three thousand...? You gotta be kiddin' me
@Bruchac The way it's always been and will be- this is adventureous, dangerous music that's deeply emotional. None of the above adjectives apply to the Black Eyed Peas and their ilk. Neither do these words apply to the average music listener, it seems : (
I served in nam, airborne, delta force. We played this album alot, full blast...so charlie could listen to the funk before they got their butts handed to them. They called us "angels of death" hey we loved our sounds
