The Rossion Q1 is a sports car from US car maker 1g Racing/Rossion Automotive. It is based on the Noble M400. Founders Ian Grunes and Dean Rosen began development on the Rossion Q1 after acquiring the rights to the Noble M400 in February 2007.[4] Their goal was to design a completely new car fusing the sporty strengths of the M400 with luxurious appointments.
Actually the Engine was designed by Porche. Ford bought the design and started producing it in the Cleavland plant were the legendary 351 Cleavland was produced so yes its American but also German.
@timillguth02 Sorry it's actually designed by Cosworth, who designed the Duratec motors with Ford.. Cosworth is a British company so it's American and British engine.
@geckoisgiko Yes twat, it is British. As I said in another comment we pracitically invented motorsport, so jog on...What nationality are the majority of the Formula One teams? Which nation changed Formula One to what it is today?
@FordNissanChevy. That's what you can't tell 'Americans'. The engines that went in the original SHOs was a car just like this called the GN-34. DOHC heads, 6,500 redline, Why not? People always want to see potential in something exotic or macho but have you ever seen an air cooled 1970 Volkswagen Bug run 12's? They're everywhere.
@FordNissanChevy Pretty sweet eh! It's a great motor, obviously this one is built with forged internals etc. but it really shows the technology for uses in their every day cars.
To clarify for both of you, when Noble signed for US production they partnered with Dean Ross from 1G racing to import the Noble M400. The car to built for US spec, ie Left hand drive etc, so they aquired a plant in South Africa to build the Noble M400 rolling chassis, where later in US they would have their motors installed. So technically the cars are made in South Africa.

As a Noble M400 owner, this car is the shit. Drove it 4 years ago, and had to have it. This car does compare to worlds best at a fraction of its cost. I was at a Exotic meet last week where a F-50 was present and it had far less creature comforts then me. Sure ferraris have better amenities but Performance bang for its buck, nothing can compare. Crazy acceleration is an understatement
Rich, I completely agree, I was just visited by a M400 owner today at work where I got to exchange a few words about his car, that thing is a BEAST. Apparently it was the same one as in this video, and the only one in the world to be made in this color. Definitely a collectors edition. The 76 Carwash will never again gaze upon such a beauty. I can almost garuantee it.
I'm glad that you saw one! They look much better in person don't they. I walk by mine every day and I take probably take it somewhat for granted. I'm blessed and it's nice to see more enthusiasts growing on such a small group of Supercars in America (220).
@mskrich I was fourtonate enough to drive a M400 before and let me say it stole my heart. The Noble is completely without a dought one of the ultimate supercars for the fraction of the cost. Not completely overrated like the lamborghini and Ferrari. Plus its a real drivers car, you don't have any of that paddle shift electronic none sense. It broke my heart to give that car back to my uncle :( Your a lucky man.
Edmunds fails again!!! Why the f*** does this company compare an $80,000 car to a $1mil+ Ferrari? The noble is great but it can't compare to cars costing over 300,000 or no one would buy an enzo or a carrera GT. To the people who say the Bugatti is the best lol!!! It is an amazing car and it is probably the finest example of traveling on land to date. However other cars do have better applications as the veyron runs out of gas very quickly. JAPANESE CARS BLOW GO EURO!!!
i first found out about noble when reading a car and driver when i was 9..i made a burning imprint in my head that i wanted the m12 gto for my first ever supercar. now i want an m600, its a real car without all the paddle shifting bullshit and 2 million dollar awd systems..its a pure, real wheel drive, 6 speed. sex.
OMG are you gonna drive a car like the M600 all day every day? no! that type of car is for PRO drivers get real will you! AWD is the future So the Veyron is not a real car? yeah right!
r u even going to care about pure driveing exitement you ricer gtr worshiping homo your taste in cars is tasteless what da you know and any way awd is good but rwd is more pure when it comes to how fun a car really is the veyron is good but its not like the veyron is the best supercar ever i mean the mclaren f1 wieghs nearly half as much has a better power to wieght raitio and if you asked me or alot of other real car enthusiahts they would name alot of supercars better than a veyron.
Any car better than a Veyron hahahahahah you sad faggot American Nazi nothing is better than the Veyron... You don't even own a car you don't even leave your moms basment if you did you would get laughed at...
So if the Veyron is not the best how come Jeremy Clarkson was so sad after racing the Veyron because he knows that a car like that will never be made again because NO-ONE in the world can do it. Oh so according to you Clarkson don't know shit so he's wrong and all your RWD BS means something! Your just sore AWD is the future and RWD is for a PRO not just anyone, tell that to Lambo drivers tell that to Simon Cowell and Jenson Button (F1 world champion) get a life retard!
look its all a metter of opinion evry one has their own opinions clarkson is a good journalist and all and the veyron is a good car i'm not critisizeing it or anything like that its just that the veyron is more of a luxzurious fast car thats feels in control i like rwd better cause its more of a handfull and who cares about getting good times on track when it comes to haveing fun lol rwd still doess have its advantages against awd.
"its not like the veyron is the best supercar ever" Thats your quote it is the best car EVER fact! Clarkson says so, so it is the best car ever it's faster than a Mclaren F1 all day long! all you ever do is contradict yourself read what your print! RWD is for a pro driver and tell that to Lewis Hamiltons dad who crashed his RWD GT FACT! only pros drive then. AWD is the future Lp560-4, the Veyron the GTR Evo's, WRC cars the list goes on AWD is the future not RWD!
their are alot of great cars with awd but rwd cars are better i mean come on they are i mean most race cars for track purposess are rwd hell look at all the indy cars and F1 cars lmp1 cars lmp2 cars and gt1 cars and gt2 cars that are rwd those types of cars are the most unbeatble cars you'll ever find but their not street legal and when it comes to the most unbeatble street legal cars on track that wiegh nothing and are as close to a race car as it gets you will find that they are mostly rwd.
cars with awd are great but rwd is still better i mean come on rwd is harder to drive but rwd is still more rewarding cause if you can get the best out of rwd you will find that it would have better perofrmnace than awd i mean rwd doess change direction all ot faster than awd over all speaking rwd is still better and will always be better.
aw come on cars with rwd are much more dominant than cars with awd i mean the fastest street legal production car in the world is the ssc ultimate aero tt it doess 257mph oh yes and the top 5 fastest street legal production cars on the worlds hardest track the nurburgring are all rwd the radical sr8 lm is the record holder its only street legal in euroupe and the radical sr8 lm doess an amzing 6:48 and come on rwd is a hell of alot more fun.
The new Noble M600 prototype is being unveiled in August. For the production car, they say it will have the same power as an Enzo: 650bhp, and will weigh half as much at just 1000kgs...Top Gear better give it a good test when it comes out, I don't like it when just ignore cars like this :P
ok then its maybe we shouldnt compare the m400 to the turbo why dont we compare the m400 to a gt3 how do you think the m400 would do against a gt3 i mean the m400 was pretty well balenced through the salom and the m400 is pretty light wieght.
Well im not a car guru or a mechanic but with the price of the m400 it has so much to offer wit killer price. Ofcourse there are better and faster cars than it but i'd but the m400 for my 1st ever supercar. (when i get the required bucks ofcourse) :D
@redfoxtrident You complete retard... yes Nobles are built under licence in the U.S under Rossion, so they don't have to be imported...in other words only the M12 and M400 models - which will always be a British design anyway...The car in this vid is British which is why it is called Noble - if it was called the Rossion Q1 then yes it would be american. Nobles headquarters is still in Leicestershire, and that's where new models are manufactured...
@Ideology252 ok so let me get this straight, they are owned by an american car company and manufactured completely in america but are british? hmmmm. oh yeah i must be the retard hey bud why dont you grow up and check your statements before you post them
Why don't you check? Yes you are right that Rossion own the rights to Noble, but only their M12 and M400 cars as said...Which are now out of production, since the original founder of Noble left. In other words all the manufacturing details for those two models were sold, not the whole company...That's why you were a big WTF....
Point is Lee Noble left his own company, and wanted to keep the manufacturing process going, so he sold the rights to HIS production models to Rossion...
The company has since has no ties with Rossion at all, and is still based in Leicester, UK - and the first new car from the company made since Lee left was the M600 - Which apparently you know nothing about since you said, and I quote, "...manufactured completely in America," when the car's actually made in Leicester...
@Ideology252 ok you got me, point being is that the brits arent above taking credit for cars they didnt create like the vauxhall monaro and others but still this car is great and theres a vid of it overtaking an enzo which i found extremely impressive
But we Brits don't think we made the Monaro, I know for a fact its built under licence from GM, in Australia, and has a 5.7 litre OHV V8 out of a Corvette C6, its only called a Vauxhall when it lands in the UK, otherwise in Australia its a Holden...
@khordi No actually its a Ford Duratec V6 to be precise, (twin turbocharged). It doesn't take a lot of skill to give an engine like that 450bhp. But it takes a lot of skill to give it a chassis which, "...refuses to understeer," as Clarkson put it. An engine doesn't make a car, Enzo Ferrari believed that at his own misfortune, and it took a Brit (Colin Chapman) to prove him wrong. Don't diss British heritage, we pracitically own motorsport...
The Noble interior is actually alcantara. According to Noble, Road and Track, and other private testers. the car's actual average slalom grip is 1.165 lateral Gs.
Just dont have wife and kids. Ferrari is the cheaper option ! Good question . The Noble is sooo fast it makes you laugh out loud , and you have a great soundtrack because the turbo wastegates are just behind your head. The Ferrari is a work of art , which you have to continuously pay large amounts of money to keep on the road , but to drive it is an honour. If you are on a budget get a Noble. M400 is unreliable. m12 gto 3 r brilliant car and you can buy one for 25k dollars.
The Ferrari (I love Ferraris and I will never forget my experience in a 360) what does it cost to like repair clutches, a better question is what did you have to maintain on it? that cost a bunch? I can't find any info on that online, but the guy at the Motorsports Warehouse in Denver said an F1 tranny service is like ten grand usd (ouch) is that the case? Good luck to you friend!
Well , only had it 3 months so nothing major yet. One annual service ( no cam belt)750 pounds about 1300 bucks. Two back tyres 300 pounds each and had to repaint a wheel where I kerbed it doh. Plus gas is 11 dollars a gallon over here ! yes , you heard me right buddy. db I quite like the look of the Noble. Mink was pink ! (even tho I like girls , it was a porsche colour , they called it rose quartz) fastest gay car on the planet!
I'm watching D-motor on street fire; I checked here and read that-god damn! $11 usd?! It mUST be that 100+ octane super fuel you can get out there, we can only get 93 octane on the coasts (1.90's/ gal) or 91 in land locked places like Colorado (as low as (1.50/gal) I know I'd only put the best in my ferrari. Fastest Gay car on the planet, lmfao! Musta been a great deal yea? Thats y my white car has red interior (ghastly)hey have you checked out an M600 yet? Take care!
no that is for regular juice. the 97 octane for the 360 is more. M600 ? dont know anything about it . will have to check. What state are you from ? I was in Maine and New Mexico for a few years
Sorry to confuse, they called it the M15 on top gear, on their web site they are calling it the m600 for here, the new noble, not sure if they've released it yet so sorry. I live in Colorado Springs, CO and as you probably know New Mexico is right under us basically. Currently I'm in Maryland 20 miles from DC about; my dad lives here and I'm on vacation here I'll be back to the high altitude (and freezing cold) in about a week. You think you'll come back to the U.S. for a visit?
i just drove my friends m400 yesterday, such an incredible machine, most track set up car that's street legal that i ever drove, more so that my friends other car which is the 997 gt3 rs...lucky kid he's only 19 years old too
..this car will rip your face off!! Its built in a farm in the the Leicestershire countryside, England, somewhere between Leicester and Hinkley. There must be something in the air,in that part of England because Roger Clarke motorsports have their headquarters a few miles away in another farm, where they build and rally race Subaru Imprezas. I take my Sti there for servicing and I have seen rally built Imprezas with +800 bhp at cost of +£200k, amazing!!
Wow this car is better than I thought...I want to go to a restaurant that is about 3 miles away from my house...the owner I believe, has a silver Noble, and it sounds and looks very nice
i live like 10 miles away from 1g and know the guy who works on them these thing prowl the streets raping all unsuspecting vetts and stangs i went to the show room man i want one of these so bad lee noble built one bad ass car
I love the Rossion Q1 version, they are fricking gorgeous. Got to see one up close while I was getting sushi at Kyoto on Montgomery Rd. Absolutely amazing cars. The gas mileage can't be all that bad either under normal conditions, it's so damn light. Only thing I gotta wonder about is improving the performance even more - it's probably not much of a tuner car as I'm sure that engine has to be close to being maxed out at 425ish HP. Who cares though... 0-60 in 3.2 seconds?!?!??!
Your referring to the M15. It's "competition" is the Porsche GT3 & Ferrari F430. It has an est. 0-60 time in 3.5 and a top speed of 185. The idea is to add more comforts like GPS, bluetooth etc. Nicer interior as well. Price is 70,000 Pounds...so roughly 120K.. I think noble did a nice job with the design, looks more like an actual manufacturers car instead of looking like a kit car.
not true. the formerly british owned province of south africa my friend, which is now and has been for quite a long time it's very own country. i believe it may have been designed by the british though?
The parts are made in S.A. Then shipped to Noble's main headquarters in the U.K. where they are built. They were then shipped to the U.S. via 1g Racings license. 1g Racing bought the rights to sell them here in the US though. 1g racing is renaming the car "Rossion Q1". 1g racings version will be an upgraded M400 better interior, car will have a faster 0-60 (i believe 3.3 seconds), better suspension, brakes etc. Rossion Q1 should be on the streets (if they aren't already) by late this year/or 09.
close to everything you listed except the koennig. for one very important reason. that car is in the top three production cars that are fastest in the world. it isn't close. i'm very excited for the new one though.
not really its a 3.o V6 twin turbo, american muscle is a gay big block V8 which is lazy and unresponsive this is very responsive and has great throttle response.
Do you mean bad as in "badass" or do you mean bad as in "they are bad cars" There are a couple in my area and in my opinion and almost everyone else who as seen one, they are amazing.

I can England cars kick ass. I am 100% American but England can make a kick ass car, they proved that with the Lotus Esprite, Noble Line, and who could forget the McLaren F1 (the GREATEST CAR of all time).
Yeah the only to american cars I am interested is an AC shelby Cobra 427 SC maybe the daytona coupe but they only made 7 of those and of course the original GT40, not the new copy that they are trying to pass off as GT40. The Ford GT is a nice car no doubt but it isn't a GT40.
I'm not entirely sure how accurate you are about the GT40, according to what I have heard, Ford designed the car originally and was deeply disappointed in its performance mostly its cornering and straight line speed, so they contacted Carol Shelby in Texas to redesign the car in Texas. Plenty of cars have been designed in Britain such as the MR2 MK1 and MK2 were both either British designed at Lotus or were designed in cooperation with Lotus, the MK3 however was all Toyota's doing.
I want that damn car!

The new Noble M600 prototype is being unveiled in August. For the production car, they say it will have the same power as an Enzo: 650bhp, and will weigh half as much at just 1000kgs...Top Gear better give it a good test when it comes out, I don't like it when just ignore cars like this :P

997 turbo could kill this.
Towelman20 2 years ago
yeah right maybe
b0ss6769 2 years ago
ok then its maybe we shouldnt compare the m400 to the turbo why dont we compare the m400 to a gt3 how do you think the m400 would do against a gt3 i mean the m400 was pretty well balenced through the salom and the m400 is pretty light wieght.
Towelman20 2 years ago
Well im not a car guru or a mechanic but with the price of the m400 it has so much to offer wit killer price. Ofcourse there are better and faster cars than it but i'd but the m400 for my 1st ever supercar. (when i get the required bucks ofcourse) :D

@Ideology252 right just like the brits claim vauxhall when in all actuality they are american and now noble is owned by the american company rossion
redfoxtrident 1 year ago
@redfoxtrident You complete retard... yes Nobles are built under licence in the U.S under Rossion, so they don't have to be imported...in other words only the M12 and M400 models - which will always be a British design anyway...The car in this vid is British which is why it is called Noble - if it was called the Rossion Q1 then yes it would be american. Nobles headquarters is still in Leicestershire, and that's where new models are manufactured...
Ideology252 1 year ago
@Ideology252 ok so let me get this straight, they are owned by an american car company and manufactured completely in america but are british? hmmmm. oh yeah i must be the retard hey bud why dont you grow up and check your statements before you post them
redfoxtrident 1 year ago
@redfoxtrident
Why don't you check? Yes you are right that Rossion own the rights to Noble, but only their M12 and M400 cars as said...Which are now out of production, since the original founder of Noble left. In other words all the manufacturing details for those two models were sold, not the whole company...That's why you were a big WTF....
Ideology252 1 year ago
@redfoxtrident
Ideology252 1 year ago
@Ideology252 ok you got me, point being is that the brits arent above taking credit for cars they didnt create like the vauxhall monaro and others but still this car is great and theres a vid of it overtaking an enzo which i found extremely impressive
redfoxtrident 1 year ago
@redfoxtrident
But we Brits don't think we made the Monaro, I know for a fact its built under licence from GM, in Australia, and has a 5.7 litre OHV V8 out of a Corvette C6, its only called a Vauxhall when it lands in the UK, otherwise in Australia its a Holden...
Ideology252 1 year ago
@redfoxtrident Do your research. Noble is British car manufacturer. The idea you claiming it to be American is laughable.

with a swedish engine in it.
khordi 1 year ago
@khordi No actually its a Ford Duratec V6 to be precise, (twin turbocharged). It doesn't take a lot of skill to give an engine like that 450bhp. But it takes a lot of skill to give it a chassis which, "...refuses to understeer," as Clarkson put it. An engine doesn't make a car, Enzo Ferrari believed that at his own misfortune, and it took a Brit (Colin Chapman) to prove him wrong. Don't diss British heritage, we pracitically own motorsport...

The Noble interior is actually alcantara. According to Noble, Road and Track, and other private testers. the car's actual average slalom grip is 1.165 lateral Gs.

remove the wing and you will crash into a tree.
That thing is all business. I had an m12 and a 360 ferrari. the noble was quicker until you got to 150 mph and cost 30 k. they are amazing.
ilikezappa 3 years ago
which one did you enjoy driving the most? 28 and you've had em' both you must be a professional of some kind. Good day.
preludedriver226 3 years ago
Just dont have wife and kids. Ferrari is the cheaper option ! Good question . The Noble is sooo fast it makes you laugh out loud , and you have a great soundtrack because the turbo wastegates are just behind your head. The Ferrari is a work of art , which you have to continuously pay large amounts of money to keep on the road , but to drive it is an honour. If you are on a budget get a Noble. M400 is unreliable. m12 gto 3 r brilliant car and you can buy one for 25k dollars.
ilikezappa 3 years ago
The Ferrari (I love Ferraris and I will never forget my experience in a 360) what does it cost to like repair clutches, a better question is what did you have to maintain on it? that cost a bunch? I can't find any info on that online, but the guy at the Motorsports Warehouse in Denver said an F1 tranny service is like ten grand usd (ouch) is that the case? Good luck to you friend!
preludedriver226 3 years ago
Well , only had it 3 months so nothing major yet. One annual service ( no cam belt)750 pounds about 1300 bucks. Two back tyres 300 pounds each and had to repaint a wheel where I kerbed it doh. Plus gas is 11 dollars a gallon over here ! yes , you heard me right buddy. db I quite like the look of the Noble. Mink was pink ! (even tho I like girls , it was a porsche colour , they called it rose quartz) fastest gay car on the planet!
ilikezappa 3 years ago
I'm watching D-motor on street fire; I checked here and read that-god damn! $11 usd?! It mUST be that 100+ octane super fuel you can get out there, we can only get 93 octane on the coasts (1.90's/ gal) or 91 in land locked places like Colorado (as low as (1.50/gal) I know I'd only put the best in my ferrari. Fastest Gay car on the planet, lmfao! Musta been a great deal yea? Thats y my white car has red interior (ghastly)hey have you checked out an M600 yet? Take care!
preludedriver226 3 years ago
no that is for regular juice. the 97 octane for the 360 is more. M600 ? dont know anything about it . will have to check. What state are you from ? I was in Maine and New Mexico for a few years
ilikezappa 3 years ago
Sorry to confuse, they called it the M15 on top gear, on their web site they are calling it the m600 for here, the new noble, not sure if they've released it yet so sorry. I live in Colorado Springs, CO and as you probably know New Mexico is right under us basically. Currently I'm in Maryland 20 miles from DC about; my dad lives here and I'm on vacation here I'll be back to the high altitude (and freezing cold) in about a week. You think you'll come back to the U.S. for a visit?
preludedriver226 3 years ago
ok I know the car you are talking about. Not sure I see the point of it , I think they should stick to little missiles like the m4oo.
If you live in Colorado , lucky you . What a fantastic place. Yeah , I will be back. Nice talking to you by the way

..this car will rip your face off!! Its built in a farm in the the Leicestershire countryside, England, somewhere between Leicester and Hinkley. There must be something in the air,in that part of England because Roger Clarke motorsports have their headquarters a few miles away in another farm, where they build and rally race Subaru Imprezas. I take my Sti there for servicing and I have seen rally built Imprezas with +800 bhp at cost of +£200k, amazing!!

thyringmaster 3 years ago
I love the Rossion Q1 version, they are fricking gorgeous. Got to see one up close while I was getting sushi at Kyoto on Montgomery Rd. Absolutely amazing cars. The gas mileage can't be all that bad either under normal conditions, it's so damn light. Only thing I gotta wonder about is improving the performance even more - it's probably not much of a tuner car as I'm sure that engine has to be close to being maxed out at 425ish HP. Who cares though... 0-60 in 3.2 seconds?!?!??!
Scylocke 3 years ago
Your referring to the M15. It's "competition" is the Porsche GT3 & Ferrari F430. It has an est. 0-60 time in 3.5 and a top speed of 185. The idea is to add more comforts like GPS, bluetooth etc. Nicer interior as well. Price is 70,000 Pounds...so roughly 120K.. I think noble did a nice job with the design, looks more like an actual manufacturers car instead of looking like a kit car.

don't forget african attitude. it might not have anything to do with the continent in terms of engineering, but it was definently made there.
bradfick147 3 years ago
witchdoctor... the noble is built in the UK!
undeadhologram 3 years ago
not true. the formerly british owned province of south africa my friend, which is now and has been for quite a long time it's very own country. i believe it may have been designed by the british though?
bradfick147 3 years ago
The parts are made in S.A. Then shipped to Noble's main headquarters in the U.K. where they are built. They were then shipped to the U.S. via 1g Racings license. 1g Racing bought the rights to sell them here in the US though. 1g racing is renaming the car "Rossion Q1". 1g racings version will be an upgraded M400 better interior, car will have a faster 0-60 (i believe 3.3 seconds), better suspension, brakes etc. Rossion Q1 should be on the streets (if they aren't already) by late this year/or 09.
gsxr0 3 years ago
well that all sounds great but what about the newer noble? the one that's marketed for more daily drivers?

not really its a 3.o V6 twin turbo, american muscle is a gay big block V8 which is lazy and unresponsive this is very responsive and has great throttle response.

KaDuWin 4 years ago
Don't forget the Aston!! And Jaguar, TVR...
They're all owned by other people of course but designed and engineered by Brits.
I still want an original Mustang Shelby GT. Best American car ever!
WildMorgan 3 years ago
Yeah the only to american cars I am interested is an AC shelby Cobra 427 SC maybe the daytona coupe but they only made 7 of those and of course the original GT40, not the new copy that they are trying to pass off as GT40. The Ford GT is a nice car no doubt but it isn't a GT40.
KaDuWin 3 years ago
The original GT40 was designed and built in Slough, just outside of London, just had the Ford badge and funding.
The new one is fully American though and is very nice, but I understand your point, you can't copy a classic.
WildMorgan 3 years ago
I'm not entirely sure how accurate you are about the GT40, according to what I have heard, Ford designed the car originally and was deeply disappointed in its performance mostly its cornering and straight line speed, so they contacted Carol Shelby in Texas to redesign the car in Texas. Plenty of cars have been designed in Britain such as the MR2 MK1 and MK2 were both either British designed at Lotus or were designed in cooperation with Lotus, the MK3 however was all Toyota's doing.
