  • Who gives a fuck if he wears a stupid ass pin !

  • Wallace thought be criticising Fox for exposing Wright and other problems of obamas Obama would come on his show, wallace even suggested fox personality of being racist towards Obama but that suck up did not work either, wallace fault be being sucked in.

  • i agree, you don't have to wear a flag pin to be patriotic. You say you find patriotism to be ignorant and gullible? so long as you benefit from those freedoms that you country gives you you shouldn't think it's ignorant. People that don't see that are ignorant for thinking that. If you don't like this country, get out...and if you're not here, stay out.

  • If this comment is directed to me (the author), you will need to provide me with a source for claiming I ever suggested "I find patriotism to be the result of ignorance or gullibility". I never said any such thing.

Now, people who ATTACK someone's patriotism simply because they aren't wearing a flag pin... that IS ignorant. And those who are whipped into a frothing hate because they've been told wearing a piece of tin on their lapel makes them more patriotic than someone else ARE "gullible".

  • No, i wasn't suggesting you said that. There is a post below that had said that. I happen to agree with your statements...no worries.

  • LMAO get a life. You dont need a fucking pin.... And i myself am not patriotic in the slightest. I find patrotism to be ignorant and gullible. So i guess u think im a terrorist now huh lol

  • A flag is simply a symbol of the current country it represents. If someone is unhappy with the current policies and beliefs of that country someone should not wear the pin. For instance, someone who believes in the soviet union should wear the soviet flag, but someone who believes in Russia should wear the russian flag. To not wear a lapel pin is not unpatriotic, its just a statement of what you think of the country that you currently live in.

  • Just by asking that question is questioning patriotism. Bush did not wear the flag in his RNC Speech in 2000 and I don't even think McCain wore it this year. I know he hardly wears it.

AND CRHIS! WHERE IS YOUR PIN?

Our country is more than a freakin flag. this is lame because ppl are suffering and we're talking about a flag? ppl are dying and we're talking about a flag? A flag?!

  • He doesn't work for the US govt you idiot.

  • OH! So only "government officials" are unpatriotic if they don't wear flag pins. Thanks for clearing that up, because the goons over at Fox News were leading the charge on the "flag pin" nonsense, and not once did I hear them make that argument about McCain whenever *he* didn't wear one.

  • Well I can question Obama's patriotism all I want. It's my right as a voter. You can't question McCain's patriotism. You just can't. He's been proven. Obama is unknown. So you're welcome for me clearing that up.

  • Claiming *you* can question Obama's patriotism as your right as a voter but I can't question McCain is wildly self serving and offensive.

As an African-American graduate of Harvard Law School and the first ever African-American President of the Harvard Law Review, he could have accepted a job at a multi-million dollar lawfirm. Instead, he went into public service, ran for the State Senate and became a "Community Organizer". What have YOU done? Can I question YOUR patriotism?

  • Well I meant "you" in general. Look, McCain's patriotism is proven, Obama is an unknown democratic invention. That's the plain and simple matter. How about

BHO not putting his hand on his heart for the pledge? This is not the only incident. I'm just saying... lol

She said "servicemen, policeman, and EMS", not the media. I just thought it was dumb that you pointed out no flagpin on Chris Wallace. Why didn't you include in the video BHO's response to the question?

  • When McCain put "Keating" before his country, I could easily "question his patriotism" if I wanted. I have no such question of Obama's.

BTW, it was the "Anthem", numbnuts, not "The Pledge". You're not expected to cover your heart for the Anthem, only stand at attention. (this story is so old, I'm amazed anyone is still clinging to it. Please note in that infamous photo, the flag is BEHIND them.)

I have no clue what you are referring to after that.

  • Sure you can question my patriotism. But I don't have to prove it to you, because I'm not running for president.

  • Then please tell me how Ronald Reagan or Bush-43 "proved their patriotism"? The first never served in uniform (other than costume). The second dodged the draft and went AWOL.

  • Wow. I sure feel the love.

  • dumbass.. police, firefighters, and government officials wear the Flag Pin -

  • Holy fuck this has got to be one of the stupidest things I have ever seen. How does not wearing a stupid flag pin mean you hate America?

This is a shit country anyway and it's all because of stupid ignorant people bitching about stupid shit like flag pins. Americans are fucking stupid.

  • Of course it's stupid. That's kinda the point.

  • WHO GIVES A FUCK!?

  • Obama is starting to wear a Flag Pin often.

Just saw it on the news.

  • Dude, who even wears a pin on their lapel? I never have, and the only people who come to my mind, who I can remember or even imagine wearing lapel pins were women.

  • Drs. Romney and Wm. (Bamm-Bamm) Kristol are among the most notable American traitors of the era.

    Legendary draft-dodger/war-yellows--both.

  • Just wanted to let everyone know that in his next broadcast, interviewing Barack Obama, not only was Wallace STILL not wearing a flag pin, but even had the nerve to ask Obama about the "flag pin" issue.

  • Which implies that anyone who isn't "military personnel..." etc., like, say, most members of Congress or talk-show hosts or many others shouldn't be wearing the pin at all. Hmmmm.

  • And Section 8J of the code says, "No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart."

  • As if wearing a tin pin made in China expresses patriotism there is this as well:

The Flag Code (Section 6D) says "The flag should be displayed on all days," and it's not just referring to public buildings.

  • i guess it's mandatory now to wear a US flag lapel pin on your suits? Patriotism is fine until it leads to Nationalism and Fascism.

  • Flush Fox down the toilet, along with ABC.

America is sick of their bull-shit.
