I started to ride the jack rabbit when i was 4 & my son rode for the first time when he was 4 its very mellow. And by the way it dose jump off the track but the safety rail holds it on u can hear all the wheels come off the rails & the anti jump rail rubbing on the cars
@Brivloging Yes, it's a bit more intense than the racer, mostly because of the double hill. But it's nowhere near as rough as the Thunderbolt or the Phantom.
The height requirement for this ride is so short that a 6/7 y/o can ride. Anyone who grew up in Pittsburgh probably rode the Jackrabbit before any other coaster. The historical value (built in 1921) is unprecedented.
Everybody says "Unnghhh this ride sukz cuz ther is nothing but tha dubel dip der". But since when are just taking a nice few drops not fun? People are expecting every rollercoaster to be Kingda Ka or something, damn enjoy them for God's sake
@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom coasterforce, why is this rated so high in the golden ticket awards? The only thing it seems to do is the double drop! It's rated higher than Balde and my personal favourite, the giant dipper in CA.
@Jmarley912 The double dip on this coaster is one of the best single elements on any woodie anywhere. It's also just a unique & very fun coaster to ride.
@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom Kl, just didn't think it looked THAT good - I really need to go to Kennywood one day to ride this and Phantom's Revenge to see what all the fuss is about. Thanks anyway.
@Twilight5698 The only truly OLD coaster I've been on is the Giant Dipper in San Diego, but after that I was convinced- they just don't make them like they used to. I'm not saying modern coasters aren't great, but they don't feel alive like the old ones do. They lack the charm and personality that the classics have.
I know it's a classic, but i still don't understand why this is rated so high in the golden ticket awards. I haven't been on this, but it looks the double drop is the only moment of airtime.
@Mesatalia On some older wooden coasters the main wheels do lift off the track for a sec, but that is why they have up stop wheels on the underside of the cars so that the ride vechile can not fly off the track. All coasters have this but the old ones have a bit more wiggle room so they do bounce around, but that is normal so no need to fear.
@evilportrait Listen, I'v ridden top thrill dragster and believe it or not this comes close. The double dip makes great airtime and negative vertical g's
It's called a sky coaster, but it isn't an actual coaster. You wear a harness & are hoisted way up in the air. Then they release the line & you soar out over the park & back again. They have these rides at just about every park here in the USA, but they cost extra to ride.
Yes. I live in the USA, but I'm not the guy in the SAW documentary. That is Mark. I don't speak very often in my videos, but if you listen to the end on the Tornado one I just posted or to the Teststrecke video you can hear that Mark & I sound nothing alike. ;D
