I'm basing this upon being part of the LGBT community and knowing certain mannerisms that point towards someone being gay universally and statistically it has to be someone and it could be anyone but it's more than likely one of the more effeminate ones. Hence why I think a lot of Koreans are under the impression that gays just don't exist in Korea although I must say the younger generations are becoming a lot more educated on the matter. I think we still have a long way to go in the west but it is good in a lot of places yes and thank you for being so respectful about the whole thing :)

@leesol0812 Yeah, I mean a lot of the older generations of Koreans especially think that homosexuality is something Westerners bought in. But yeah, it isn't viewed as a positive thing. Two examples I can thing of is Tony Hong or Hong Seok Cheon like the only out gay Korean celebrity lost everything when he came out. Or a few housewives wrote in about the drama Life is Beautiful which featured a gay couple and said it would make their sons gay and give them AIDS or something like that.
