@m0u5ec1 Excellent! Thank you. That’s what the videos are supposed to do. You’re welcome; It’s my pleasure to help out in any way. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
@trebluap I would use a Saatichem emulsion like Textil PV or PC. You can get it at a discount using a Catspit promo code on the website. Link is in the video description and channel page. The halftone itself will depend on your mesh count and desired resolution. I like 45 to 55 lpi in most cases. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
hello again - novice printer here. just wanted to thank you again for uploading these awesome and informative videos! loyal subscriber here. ran into an interesting issue tonight with a design that was mostly black, and wanted to print it on black textile. what i thought was to be a correct positive turned out to be wrong - i actually had to make a revere positive (negative?) to get the white of the design to print correctly on the black. confusing? maybe a quick video on this subject
@tourettestrickenshan This is something that most people never realize or notice. Most artwork designed for white or light colored garments with darker inks will need to be “reversed” for printing in white ink on black tee shirts. This is due to a negative effect if it is not done correctly. But few notice this and even printers themselves often will not reverse the artwork because it can take time. But I will get to this eventually. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
@dknour Hey there… what exactly are you referring to? These are film positives produced by different methods. Check out the video again, you should be able to understand what I am saying about the different film making methods. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠
@honda125 Hey thanks! That’s cool; I hope it goes over well. It’s nice and simple… heavy and crunchy too. My pleasure. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠
@jackal88k I use Corel Draw and Illustrator mostly. Sometimes I use Photoshop to manipulate something first. But I am not a graphic artist. I have other people who can design and create art from scratch. My thing is printing. I know what I need in art but I am not an expert at creating it. I do a lot of simple stuff and get help for more complicated artwork. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠
