Um, that wasn't lag switch, dude. You missed big time. This kind of stuff happens in splitscreen as well. You just grazed him doing very minor damage if any at all. Also there numerous gaps in the characters where the bullet passes through w/ no damage to the victims. The side of the neck on an elite is immune to damage as well as blood splattering if the bullet is close enough w/o touching. A lot of this was fixed in reach but shit happened in halo 3.
@snailzillascreator That was just a glitch. He entered the cell but didn't hit anything. Basically, the cell for damage is smaller than the cell for blood effect. Besides I've gotten head shots where no blood splattered but the kill registered. Shit happens. Snipe the side of the neck of an elite and the sniper round won't register. Probably the same cause here.

The next was a lower jaw/ neck shot that passed through w/ no damage. Similar to the neck glitch on the elite it does exist in spartans. You see, the damage cells for heads, bodies & limbs are seperate. Different parts do different damage. If you hit between these cells, no damage will be dealt.

I knew he wasn't cheating because he have just used the knife cheat, hover cheat or aimbot. Not once did I encounter a lag switch. I just wasn't a good enough shot to get the vitals so he lived and I died. BTW did u notice in this vid how not all angles were shown. Soory to say but I don't believe this was lag switch.

Besides a lag switch would basically have everyone lag for at least 10seconds (basically standing still) while he/she goes around killing (i know this for a fact because i have some freinds that LS on gears)
