tbh, i think Chinese Democracy is just as good as AFD, dont really care what others think, it was a solid album, even without the others it sounds like GnR, imho, it succeeded where Illusions 2 was weak in most areas, its a more mature effort

Ok. Axl still has it. Chinese Democracy was a good album. You can pick any one of those three guitarist up there and they are better than slash. All slash was, was a certain kinda vibe. To any musician out there, they would know Fortus, Ashba, Thal and especially Buckethead are all much greater in skill.

Do I like the old GNR better? Yes. Do they still rock? Absolutely. I'm slowly becoming a little more happy with this lineup.

This is as good as you are gonna get if you are an old GNR supporter, however I do suggest you see them live for real. Completely different.

To every GNR fan(Both classic and new line up)who watches this, one thing is obvious about GNR lineups they rock, and the new GNR and The old GNR are two completely different entities that can't be compared to each other. The New line up covers the old GNR songs as recorded in studio and they rock their new songs that being said the old GNR could do what ever they wanted to rock their songs and we would of loved it. all being said, You can't dwell in the past and can't compare apples to oranges.
