I think the early 1990's to late 1990's were and expirimental, unsure period in 'dance'-like music, which is why so many of these artists faded after a couple or so records, and Hiphop came out on top. Its too bad, bc many of these artists, like Cathy, had voices and could sing, unlike many of todays "dance-like music" artists.
