Question: Where are all these celebrities always having a concert after natural disaster occurred and donate the money they made to the victims??!?!?!? Answer: They don't care!! Because it didn't happen in Africa!!!!!
Why didn't you all go outside man you know how dangerous that is to stay in? If the building collapsed you would all be under it, i noticed some colleages sitting under a desk.. yeah when the building collapses that desk aint gonna hold the building from crushing your head. It is nice to see you all still laughing and making jokes, japanese spirit.
@Sm0k4bl3 Japanese buildings are to withstand earthquakes; especially big ones. They probably didn't know how severe it was. Their building just swayed side to side as it is intended to be.
@akidearest Thanks for responding i did not know that, we dont have earthquakes in holland but this 8.9 quake in japan made the earth in Limburg(holland) rise 2 cm up
@Sm0k4bl3 Well for one, you're totally wrong. If you go outside you can be hit with falling debris. Although the buildings here do not collapse - as you saw - windows can break and cladding / facades can fall off buildings and kill the people standing at the bottom. In the office furniture can topple over and lighting fixtures, suspended ceilings, etc can hit your head. Under the desk is the safest . If you're in rural China, maybe you're better running. Not here.
@Sm0k4bl3 I'm so very sorry that I offended you by responding to your question. I do not see where someone else said the same thing in another comment. The dude in the video is also saying the same thing - but you obviously didn't understand the Japanese because you asked the question.
I am from the West coast of the U.S. and have also experienced earthquakes. On this day, the coast of my home, Oregon, witnessed the mere echoes of the waves that ravaged the Northeast of Japan. My children and I would like to say to you, although we do not know you, we are glad that you and your co-workers are safe. May your good fortune be extended to your loved ones. You all handled yourselves admirably. On to brighter days ahead!
