I have had 1 halfmoon betta out of 100 of a hm betta from one of my spawns that look just liike this, but they have sharp 180 degree caudal edges and longer fins. I guess it does not take a genius to figure it out.

I say the domesticated Fighting Plakats are the more aggressive ones than the wild types. The domesticated fighting plakats is the only betta breed that is specifically bred not just for fighting, but are also bred for stamina as well for longer combats. Wild bettas tire quickly after a short but violent battle. Some wild bettas will even flee after discovering that his fin was nipped by the opponent. Wild bettas are also skittish than domesticated bettas.

Back in Asia, I used to catch them under thick water plant. One challege is that it's rare to find a good collor fish, but if I did catch some dark and reach in color one. Femail usually light color and less eggs.

this fish have in malaysia/thai/indo only, price 25cent US or RM1.50 this fish build only for fight, 20 years ago, my uncle have this fish and have a special eye tooth, like dracula. i dont know why my uncle fish have a dracula tooth from below mouth, that only one in the world, now that fish maybe was die.

oh veryy beautiful!!I have a red male idk wat type butt his fdins are very long and look lik sil i lik to stick my fingers in my one gallon tank(its in my room so its gottsta be small)and he nibbles on it,but i lik to say its kisses!!Hey,i have a question,how come your bettas can be in the same tank??My betta(his name is spit-fire)is in the same tank as two guppoies and nips their fins,(actually tears them!!)but nothing too serious!!

These are not female, These are male. Females are lighter in color and these are wild type bettas, not plakat, or siamese. They were discoverd in 01' and its a new speci of bettas. They are from thailand and live in a habitat of a small water off the side of the roads.

they seem to be females, if not then they have snakehead body. snakehead body are the top fighters, although their stamina isn't as good as the knife body and the cichlid body. still nice :)
