  • Go to see him in Glasgow every year and he never disappoints. One of teh best gigs i've ever been to!!

  • I've seen South 30+ times since the late seventies and he always puts on a great show. I've sang Havin' a Party with my arm around him, I've been reprimanded by him in the middle of a concert and I hunted him down every time he ventured into the crowd....he always looked scared for some reason( I'm double his size). Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes will always be more than just a band to me!

  • hah amazing! always as energetic

  • I saw him in the 80's several times in Rye NY Los Angeles and Princeton College

The sound was much fuller than they get now but they still rock.

  • @hotone23 I saw 'em in '79 in Lawrence at the Opera House. One of the five best shows I've ever seen.

  • really disappointed inasmuch as the brass drowns Johnn'y vocals, there;s feedback at the start.but good comedic if shy show from his daughter. My brother saw him liveabout 35 years ago. I wish I had..and the Four Tops..

  • This is a Bruce Springsteen written song which he have to Southside to record.

  • New Jersey Rocks, does it not...Southside and all our artists are fine...fine..fine...friends together...friends forever...

  • I lived in New Jersey in the '70s, and this brings back great memories. I am now back home in Ireland and I just can't stop listening to this over and over again. Thanks for posting this!!!! Brilliant!!!!

  • saw the mat asbury couple days ago. loved them
