I don't think a lot of people realize what that stallion did. He was literally sacrificing himself - what he was - a wild stallion - for the safety of his herd. When he allowed Jim to take ahold of the reins, he had no idea Jim would eventually set him free. And you can call it over analyizing - and maybe it is...but this is somewhat similar to the sacrifice Christ made.

this was such a beautiful and strong clip in the movie. love the older movies and how they put so much feeling in to the show and the actors.

No, different horse. Cass Ole was an Arabian stallion.

Yes. He was given as a colt to Matilda as a wedding gift and later set loose when she feared her husband would kill it because another man gave her a present. He turned wild and became leader of the bromby band.

if you could just take part .21 - .48 & extend the music in a loop for like an hour or two...& slow down that stallion so he's running over the ridge the whole time......
