not be able to understand them?????? i'm american and i watch EVERYTHING they do on youtube and the internet...they are BY FAR the best presenters/entertainers i've seen...i'd take them over Ryan Seacrest on American Idol any day, and they would turn America's got talent into a show that would actually be bearable to watch - Jerry Springer was terrible, Regis wasnt great either and Nick cannon is driving me crazy...BRING ANT AND DEC TO AMERICA!

They ditched the show for fear that we wouldn't understand them? That seems a little retarded to me. I mean, it's not that hard to understand them at all! I suppose you just have to get used to it (I did have trouble at first, and every now and again there are some things I don't quite catch). What my big worry is that no one in America (save a few) will like them. I'm scared that no one will understand their relationship and not see what they do as being funny (Americans can be hard to please).

I hate to break it to you but some accents are hard to understand if you haven't grown up around them. My cousin is from Alabama and when she studied abroad in London nobody could understand her. Did she say "stupid British"? No.

Oh, you Brits. Sometimes your accents sound really thick to the American ear. Generally Ant and Dec are easy to understand, but every once in a while one of their sentences sounds like complete jibberish to me. It happens. Would you find Cajun accents consistently easy to understand? Or Brooklyn accents? Etc.
