It's interesting to see the Maloofs showing some much passion when they are doing well (like in this game) and then wanting to sell the team. Sure, it's hard to be happy when you team has been struggling for a number of years now, but from going to a potential multi-Championship team to potentially relocating the club...that's pretty rough.
@speranzayaya the series was won by the wolves, KG pulled out one of the most heroic individual performance in G7. heck of a series, wont spoil it no more for you.
and they went on to lose this match.. they should have won this series. They should have won game 2! and then they could have won game 3! That's 3-0! FUCK, instead they had to push it to game 7 with a chris webber 3 pointer fail for the win.. so sad.
This game was like the Kings lakers series role reversal, T-Wolves have dream season and are #1 seed facing the experience, Kings win game 1 on road, Wolves win game 3 on road, but it couldnt play out completely as we just fell short of winning game 7
@playoffexpert1 And having family in Minnesota, I know this -- it was the ONLY time that the Timberwolves have taken precedence in the Minnesota newspapers over the Twins, the Vikings or the NHL team, the Wild. Time to bring these teams back to the forefront
@statboy08 well hockey i would assume is big there cuz the winter's are brutal, twins have been around forever, vikes are always that team of hope, plus only eight games a year. But the t-wolves suck right now, but i agree, one of these days these teams will be back
Wow, I remember this game. This entire series was amazing. This back when Arco, was ARCO. Had the cowbells and all. Used to love when the Lakers came to town.
3 hours practise his shot after regular training. that amazig! Now, when he got the money, I think he wont play anymore...he has hotels in Europe, restoraunts in America,... i mean, you cant play basketball and be a business man...and he is from Serbia, not from Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia s gone...remember that
Peja still plays for the New Orleans Hornets! He's still a great natural shooter and scorer. He's playing less minutes to protect his back, but he's still capable of scoring 25 to 30 points several games per season. His average won't be like his Sacramento days, but he should still average at least 15 to 20 points if he gets enough shot attempts.
@SerbProperty You're an idiot and obviously have never watched the kings in the playoffs. You're a serb so you naturally suck his dick like the faggot you are. I on the other hand have been a kings fan all my life and have watched him choke in the playoffs with my own eyes. Do some research before you speak on things you know nothing about.
@paydog23 And now they might even move to a different city and a new environment. Yeah, it all went south after 2004. They still made the playoffs in 05 and 06, but they were a low seed then and really had no chance of winning the title. I guess after Artest left, then Bibby, they began to frefall, and believe it or not, they still haven't reached the bottom. Hopefully they don't move to another city and they get back into the playoffs, cause those fans are pretty impressive!
@ZvezdaSerb lets not forget Bobby Jackson,Doug Christie,Scott Pollard...all off them 6th man of the year material... they should have won at least 3 or 4 titles.
@ZvezdaSerb They traded webber because they thought they could build around peja, but peja wanted to play for a bigger contract so thats why he got traded... and vlade left for more money on the lakers to end his career
@ZvezdaSerb Webber was never quite the same after his injury in 2003, Vlade got old and we didn't want to sign him to a multi-year extension after 2004. He only played one more season. Peja was only as good as Vlade and Webber made him, so after they left, it was tough for him to be the same player. Bibby became the primary option, and he was never good enough to do that. He's always been a good #3 or #4 option because of his clutch shooting.
haha, yeah ok there buddy, who's gonna carry them until the finals? bibby? he's in atl. Artest? he's in houston. KEVIN MARIN? who really cares where he is, sorry, but not gonna happen this season.
Hey man I love the Kings and I am a huge kings fan. I miss the way they played AS ONE! As much as I love them the west is really tough and it would be nearly impossible to get to playoffs yet alone finals. WE BELIEVE!
Probably my best memory of Peja, cus he was so happy and poised in this game and he usually appears very bored.
Sad that kings lost in Overtime though, I remember it like it was yesterday Peja got totally hammered on a jumpshot and the refs swallowed their whistles =(
I remembered that game, it was so amazing.... before 1 minute, Kings down by 10 points, all the fans were going home, and then in the final seconds, we tied the game, I was crying, because it was incredible, unfortunately we lost that game, but this final minute was incredible...

I was at this game! You don't see the people that were half way out of Arco because the kings were down by so much! Great comeback, to bad Garnett got the lucky bounce in OT...
This was probably the biggest(and only)clutch game of meaning that Peja has ever had. This was unreal to watch in person, as a Kings fan.
