you should get a shot of the logan city council ones - seen em around cul de sacs and units - still a coupla knobheads around that block the garbos from comin into the cul de sacs - not too many where i live though
@erikals2 Eventually I'll get up to QLD and in Logan, just wish I could now for the split trucks before they go. Plenty of idiots around making it hard for the garbos, they're far from extinct in my council... cul-de-sacs are always a classic too.
WOW!! What a great find! Always love seeing "teeth ASLs" in action as they don't exist here in the States. Love this guy's sound, and how he throttles it once he has the bin hooked on!! Just wondering, does the guy who goes around pulling in the bins work for JJ Richards or for the units? A TOTAL fav, this one!!!
Expect to see a few more of these, that's if my plans don't go wrong. Very fascinating concept to me, just a shame they're starting to change a lot to grabbers now :( Yes the runner works for JJ Richards.
nice vid 5 stars and a fav. at our house j.j richards does our recycling and when i first seen a hook lift i was trying to figure out how it hooks to a bin
No I don't think this one takes care of culd-de-sacs, just standard streets. Didn't notice a fleet # on this one now that you mention it, perhaps it's on the left side of the cab where you can't see it here? I'd say it's somewhere around 02-04... mid-age.
haha Yer when it all gets stuck in the bin. I imagine it'd be slow when you shake them, because I believe the Richards' arms don't respond to the joystick as fast as general brands. Maybe they don't get along with the engineers :D
Very, very nice Mitch memories of these lodgers when they used to use them here for the split recycling bins

Nice vid Mitch.
This truck would be PAINFUL in cul-de-sac's, look at the long wheelbase it has, it'd be hell, but maybe he doesn't get into areas like that.
I tried to spot a fleet #, did you see one? I'm guessing by it's body, this truck would be around 00 - 02 ?
Wish i could tip greenwaste that fast !!!
If I did, it'd be all over the ground and I'd be shoveling it up.
Also noticed he's "two footin" it, he could get his workshop to speed up his lifter a tad instead of revving her for each bin.

Why do they have someone walking with the truck? Also, what's the small bin with the red lid?
martinXY 3 years ago
The guy pulls the bins in and out of the units, red lidded bin is for garbage.
