people are so cruel to haley for absolutely no reason, she was a great singer. It's a once in a lifetime chance and I could not imagine finally getting that chance only to have people be so cruel. I really hope she continues, she really is incredible.

I liked Haley, but I wasn't heartbroken when she got eliminated. I knew that she was one of the weakest contestants remaining, and it was just her time to go. Her appeal to me was that she just seemed so sweet and it looked like she really loved singing. I felt bad that she missed Martina McBride by one week though, since she said in her interview on the American Idol website that that was the guest mentor she was most looking forward to.
I do admit her voice isnt as good as the top3 girls, she had something that the others didnt. None of the others had real talent in showmanship. She knows how to work the crowd. When Phil tried doing it on top 7 night, it looked so fabricated. She was FUN to watch, and her pitch was usually good. This song is rythmically challenging, and to calculate the pitch that quickly is tough. Ill miss her and I hope to see much more of her.
Dont worry about Haley she will be fine. She has the one thing that matters in American society and that is LOOKS!!!! She doesnt even have to work anymore if she doesnt want to. All she has to do is find some dude to take care of her and shel be alright.
