  • Wait...I'm confused...if it is in His timing then how can I expect anything in my timing? If I dwell in Him then there is no greater thing than His indwelling Spirit. If he wants to bless me with anything more, then that is a gift. What gift was ever given that was demanded of the giver? Discover your gift and watch the Holy Spirit use you mightily and work in you to do greater things that go beyond human wisdom and ability. Don't let your joy be taken by doubting this truth!

  • @halers009 I'm having the same problem man pm me if u need to

  • What rubbish ! You don't just pray believe that you have it and then thats it !! NOOO ! If the Spirit of God comes upon you you will know it ! No mistake about it. The problem with this teaching is the same when people say just say this prayer and you will be a believer then they walk away and you never see them again because they think 'its just a prayer' and there has been no life changing act. You must seek it with all your heart you must yearn for it and cry out n God will answer

  • Prophecy increases faith, but God must give you eyes to see it. Some people think the young girl was not a virgin, but that wouldn't be much of a sign, would it--just another sexually active girl having a child? Don't think Joseph would have been sweating in his sleep if he was the father.

Truly, the Holy Spirit illuminates, and the Holy Spirit alone. You are invited to see a video called "A Blessing for All Nations" at my channel.

The prophecies about Christ go way back.

  • The Baptism is different from the infilling with the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the one that baptises with the Holy Spirit and fire like john said. He will chose to baptize you when He sees fit to do so. Its also important to be hungry for God , and look for a commitment with Him and be serious about Him, also be baptized in water, people forget that.

  • I have received the Holy Ghost last May and have not received it since. Why couldn't I get it back? I pray to God all the time. What am I doing wrong?

  • @halers009 you say you have received the Holy,Ghost, you are talking about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? The Baptism is different from the infilling with the Spirit. Jesus baptizes you once, but the infilling we get every time we praise, worship, read the Bible, and abide in His presence. You can get filled and overflow, and you can experience the anointing which is the tangible/manifest presence of God.

  • @halers009 remember that the Holy Spirit is living inside of you so He wont leave you, unless one blasphemes against Him. God may chose to take Him away.

  • @LadyD1979 I honestly don't thnk a Child of God can blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Long story, and a long study. I also am convinced that by the time they have read the N.T. for the second time, every Bible believing Christian will wonder if he ever did blaspheme the Holy Spirit. I know I did. of course, our enemy desires to steal our Joy, and he lies to us, trying to imitate the holy spirit. God gives us the discernment and wisdom to be wary of his devices.

  • @halers009 Salvation from sin is the key. remember purity comes before power. then sanctification. For one to receive of the Lord he must believe he is and he is the rewarder of those that seek him. Lay aside all stumbling blocks deny yourself take up the cross and follow Jesus. REMEMBER PATIENCE AND FAITH. You need to be filled and baptized to carry out Christ work and live out your faith with boldness.

  • How to be filled with the spirit ? Drink a bottle of Bourbon.

  • Blessed be the NAME of the Lord of Lords & Kings of Kings!

    Jesus Christ .

  • The holy spirit if a joke. Wasn`t he supposed to guide the church, to guide all bible readers interpreters and translators. Yet ,he allowed 35.000 christian denominations to spring up.

  • @ndzoko The word of God and his church are very much true and still standing. It is men you lack understanding or concern for holiness that distort what is written in the Bible.

  • @samtorrance5590 If you don`t read between thelines, the bible is one of the greatest accumulations of nonsense ever assembled by man.

  • @ndzoko Please go on. Explain the "nonsense". Is it by any chance the part that convicts you of sin, tells you the things you love are the things God hates?

  • @samtorrance5590 Give me ONE piece if evidence for the whole bible, except the existence of a couple historical figures, Pontius Pilate, Herod, etc or the location and existence of certain towns and customs. I am waiting.

  • @ndzoko There is a book called "Evidence That Demands A Verdict" by Josh McDowell. You'd be surprised just how much evidence there is for the Bible. I knew nothing of it and thought the Bible was a load of rubbish before I knew what I know now. I urge you to investigate the things I bring up.

Biblical Prophecy: recorded in the Old Testament are predictions about future events and the Messiah in particular, hundreds of them which were fulfilled. There is one, study of it is essential.

  • @samtorrance5590 Show me ONE prophecy with exact data. You can prophecy anything, without exact data, it will come to pass, just wait long enough. Show me ONE. prophecy which as such exact data, that it is impossible to apply it some other person or other event. Thank you.

  • @ndzoko Through many of the Old Testament books it is predicted that a man would be born who would be God incarnate (Immanuel - God with us {name given to Jesus}) at Bethlehem. He would suffer for the sins of His people, be rejected by His own (Jews) and buried in a rich man's tomb. He would be sold for 30 pieces of silver which would be thrown down in the temple. He would then rise from the grave and draw many people to himself. ALL of these prophecies were fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

  • @samtorrance5590 Show me in the gospels, where Jesus is called EMANUEL. Thank you.

  • @ndzoko All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). Matthew 1v22-23 in fulfillment of Isaiah 7v14, written 700 years beforehand.

  • @samtorrance5590 " Virgin" mistranslation from the Hebrew language. Any scholar can tell you that. Besides, where is your proof this happened ? I ask you again, show me in the gospels, where Jesus is called" Immanuel' If you can`t show me, this prophecy is not fulfilled. Again, show me in those so called "prophecies" the exact data. ..date,place, names of the people involved, exact description of the event.

  • @ndzoko Any scholar huh? Is that why scholar's agree about the text and translation? I already showed you, Matthew quotes the text to show Jesus is Immanuel. Immanuel, meaning God with us is a common teaching in the Bible. Jesus was known as God in flesh, he said it himself, and it is spoken about all over the New Testament.

Why are you so angry and rude about it? What is wrong with you? Can you hate the Bible so much, simply because it tells you the truth about yourself?

  • @samtorrance5590 The prophecy says clearly. he will be called Immanuel. Show me where in the gospels he was called Immanuel . Thank you. I don`t hate anybody or anything. I love to defend REASON.

  • @ndzoko When God is named in the Old Testament, it is usually because that name describes a quality or characteristic or nature of God (i.e. Jehovah Jireh meaning The Lord Will Provide) So it is with Christ. No one went up to him and said "Hey Immanuel, how's it going?" because the name Immanuel was simply a reference to Jesus nature as being God incarnate (the name means God with us).

  • @samtorrance5590 Why didn`t Isaiah prophecy he will be called Jesus ? Why was the word "Alma"h translated to " virgin" when in all other instances in the tanach( the O.T.) it is translated as " young girl ".. Why is it that Emmanuel( god with us) is not his name, but Jesus( god saves ) is considered his real name ? Why is that, Isaiah did not prophecy , that his mother would be Mary, and would be impregnated by the holy spirit ? You see there is not a grain of logic in this whole story.

  • @ndzoko I don't know why Isaiah's prophecy didn't say Jesus... like I said, he is called a number of names in order to reveal something of his nature. i.e. Alpha and Omega. Isaiah was trying to tell us that the child who is born will be God incarnate, as is revealed in other parts of Scripture. It isn't saying his name will be "Immanuel" as in how people will address him in human form, but Immanuel describes him. He will be called god incarnate.

  • @samtorrance5590 You are playing with the meaning of the word " call "....And she (Mary) will bear a son; and you shall CALL His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins... Would you give the same interpretation to the word " call " in this verse ? So, Jesus is not his real name, because it means( god saves )

  • @ndzoko It seems that your desire is for God to have spelled it out in black and white for you to understand, as if he isn't being clear enough about who the Messiah would be by having over 300 prophecies just about him. Logic would lead us to conclude that the prophesied Messiah must be Jesus of Nazareth, since he is the only one in history to fulfill any of them, nay, ALL of them. I don't know why the word is translated this way, but doesn't young girl assume virginity? (I may be wrong

  • @samtorrance5590 He didn`t need 300 prophecies. just ONE clear and simple, not subject to misinterpretation. A messiah will be born in the year... of the reign of emperor....from a virgin named Mary, impregnated by god himself, in the town of Bethlehem, in a stablehis name will be Jesus.. All those so called "prophecies" are worse than horoscopes. Since when is " young girl" identical with" virgin". ? Go to Thailand and see for yourself.

  • @samtorrance5590 300 prophecies, and not one, which taken individually, points only to one person in history. Collectively( grasping a verse here and there) and with a long stretch of the imagination, one might conclude, they are talking about Jesus.

  • @samtorrance5590 What is the use of a prophecy, given 700 years before the supposed prophecied event ? If I predict the most fantastic event for the year 2,712, do you think anybody is going to give a sh.. What is the use telling the Jews... I am sending you a messiah.. but my divine plan is, that you will not recognise me ,and crucify me. Tell me the use of those prophecies . Don`t you see the futility of such prophecy ?

  • @ndzoko "I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done" - Isaiah 46v10 The use of God giving prophecies so far in advance is to prove that the bible is the true word of God and that he does know the future before it happens. I don't know why God does things, but it was predicted that he would be rejected by his own people. Who am I to question God? Praise Him for giving us a substitute for sin, even his own Son.

  • @samtorrance5590 Just in case you doubt my words, here are the verses:Deuteronomy 17:12.Exodus 22:18.Leviticus 20:13.Leviticus20:27. Exodus 21:15. Proverbs 20:20. Leviticus 20-9 Leviticus 20:10 Leviticus 21:9. Deuteronomy 13:13,19 Exodus 22:19 Deuteronomy 13:1,5.Romans 1:24,32. Exodus 31:12,15. Romans 1:24,32. Leviticus 24:10,16 Deuteronomy 22:20,21

. Maybe you NEVER read your bible, the word of god( LOL)

  • @ndzoko Sorry... what are those verses proving? I don't understand your point in referencing them.

  • @samtorrance5590 Besides, were are the EXACT DATA.>> Date, place, exact description of the event, exact names of the participants in the event ?

  • @ndzoko I don't understand the question - sorry.

  • if it's in his time that i'll receive energizing from heaven, why make a statement such as "how to be filled with the spirit in 30 seconds?

  • Rob, ur knee WILL bow to the almighty savior, and YOU WILL confess tht Christ IS Lord! You can bet the farm on it friend. If you claim to believe in satan you must also believe there is a God. We are all accountable to that God and we all need his grace and mercy, we must REPENT and BELIEVE the gospel (right on christianprogrammer...tht is biblical, i dont subscribe to the joel olsteenish fluff as you call it) rob i pray you bow ur knee to god this side of heaven and settle out of court.

  • Wrong! You don't have to wait on God. He has already given the gift we just have to ask, and receive in faith, and thank HIM for his Holy Spirit. Read you Bible.
