It's not so much adults in his audience but a degree of maturity. He doesn't fuck about, he does things the way he does things and he wants to be heard and appreciated as an artist by a mature audience. And fortunately he has avoided the whole "reach out to the kids", I would rather he aimed it at an adult audience than horny pubescent one.
