what he is saying about the diet part is true. everytime you go too reach for a chip, stop think for a couple of seconds and relay back to all the time you spent in pain working out, and all the bland food you ate, is it worth giving all that up for some chips?
Hi Jerome, I've started watching all your vids in order. It will prob' take me some time to finish them. Meanwhile, this may seem an unusual question - but U have mentioned exercising outside in freezing air & taking cold showers a couple of times in your videos, may I ask U more about that? Cus its an important part of my exercise regemen also. (Cold showers, baths swimming & cold air) We can discus it on Private Messages if U prefer.
@Ismaril17 No, handstand outside :) There was glass under my hand that I didn't see, so there was a cut of half an inch in my hand. Still isn't fully recovered and it's already 2 months ago.
This made me not want to quit my martial arts training I was giving up I've seen to many things I wasn't supposed to like my friends arm stuck in a metal shard that left me in shock and I was mad at myself because in a tournament kick broke someones ribs but you brought me back thanks
@monnster88 Getting injured and injuring others is something that's quite normal with martial arts. Your oponent knows that as well and you shouldn't be mad with yourself for being able to kick hard. I'm glad the video has this effect on you, because you shouldn't give up immediatly :)
You are Great Man...Keep up the Good work!!!Im from Canada been douing
martial arts on and off... and Im not even near your Phyisical fitness...and I admire you because your hands down..and so real... anything you say is so true...I knew many of those things you talk about!!!But to hear it in sucha humble way from a Nice guy who realy is fit like hell....Im realy impressed!!!Your realy Humble and explain well...and we can also see how you do it... realy great!!!
Despite the fact that this is how life SHOULD be looked at, I think many people choose to forget what you've just said. I think it was good for them to hear it again :) Especially from someone who can physically show how that kind of thinking has benefited him. You're doing good Jeroen, keep it up man :) Btw, those older video clips were epic. When I first saw your 3 extreme pushups a while back I went to try them and after 2 tries was done lol. Now I can do them though ;)
@Erovra1 Thanks man! As soon as I recover I will make a new skill demonstration with your music featured in it. I finally got about 5-7 good skills to show, so I think it'll be a nice video!
Jerome, this made me think of some favorite quotes:
“Ever since I was a child I have had this instinctive urge for expansion and growth. To me, the function and duty of a quality human being is the sincere and honest development of one's potential.” “If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”
I really like what you said about dont complain about how healthy food tastes, but be grateful that you have food at all, this is brilliant advice, and a really good way to think about life.
@CIarKent Can't say it's good for them ;) I never to them, but I just did them for a few videos. I can still do it without problems, but you just have to make sure you got flexible wrists.
@jlv13 cool thanks

This video has changed my aspect on how I look at fitness & getting healthy but is not limited to overall life outlook.
Thank you.

@angpeace55 Glad it helped. I will soon upload a second motivation speech which will also apply to overall life, not just working out.

@avatarcollides2day Do I have a weird chest bone?
jlvi13 1 year ago
@jlvi13
In the lower inner chest it looks sort of unsymmetrical maybe because of the bone. I have an uneven chest bone. Great body tho bro!

Awesome.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and for being an inspiration.
I really needed to hear that.
