But, I do want to point two things out. 1. American cars are built with a high rate of production, not hand made like some foreign cars (mass produced) 2. Is the new 2011 S65 AMG currently the world's most powerfull 4 door vehicle (stock) ? It has 630 PS, which is about 621 bhp.

Flying Spur Speed, M5, Alpina B7, Audi S/RS, Quattroporte, Cadillac-V, 300 SRT-8, RR Ghost, AM Rapide, etc. are all nice cars and very powerful, but I could not find a single 4 door vehicle with more PS/HP or torque than S65 AMG. Please share if you know one.

But the torque is limited on the twin turbo V12, because of what the gearbox could endure if it was not limited. And it's limited to 1300nm i believe.

The reason why this car is so slow, it's because of that automatic gearbox, it changes gears at 5000rpm, there's 1k rpm more, but no matter, it's not meant for performance. Even if the numbers seems very high.

In the new 2011 S63 performance output is more even. Feels pretty similar to me, from technical values the S63 does 800nm/2.000–4.500 vs. 1.000nm/2.300–4.300. With Performance Package you get 900nm and 571 HP compared to 630 in the V12, but due to less weight and the refreshed 7G tranny it'll do 0-100 in just 0.1 second less and with slightly over 1 gallon less per 100km/62 miles.

Count 90.000€ less in the equation and its the better decision to buy an S63.
