  • way cool!

  • Absolutely spectacular! I'm honestly floored by the quality of your rolls. Bravo.

  • man why aint you like the most famous uke player ever

  • Hella good! Mad skill there Cuz!

  • That was brill. I can play that on banjo. Don't suppose you could email me the tab so I can play it on uke could ya?

  • I can feel my eyes turning yellow. Any advice for someone looking to learn how to play foggy mountain on the uke?

  • The key is the right hand. The right hand rolls I use are pretty close to the way 5-string banjoist pick it. My left hand is different, but that's easier to see from the video.

5-string banjo tablature is easy to find by googling "foggy mountain banjo tablature". Also,Earl Scruggs has a good book called "Earl Scruggs and the 5-String Banjo" out with explanations and tablature.

  • I use standard gcea uke tuning, but if you tune the first string down one note to "g", you can play from 5-string banjo tablature, albeit in the wrong key and missing the low 4th banjo string

  • @heftone Best comment ever! I also tuned the 2nd string up a half step for some mountain modal uking! Here's a few extra !!! 'cause I'm so excited!!!!

  • Marvellous! The ukulele reinvented. Hats off to you, sir.

  • Awesome!

  • Not bad, Not bad, Not bad!

  • Haha...cool!

Now its my turn to ask for some tabs here on youtube!

    cheers,ww :-)

  • Dangit boy...

that was so good it made me want to kiss my sister.. A+++
