is he a master? or do his hands go in crazy directions that affect the tone of his beats that make him look like he;s amazing. The thing with Hok San Drumming is that it is the same thing over and over again. it gets boring after about 30 seconds. and by no means an i a master. i'm only 15.

Hey. I have a drum that is loose and cold. The beats sound a little off. Have any tips? I found a tip saying to put it in the sun for 2 days. If it works, I have a question. If you put it out for 2 days, do you leave it overnight, or, leave it in the sun then bring it back in and bring it back out tommorow. Reply back. PLEASE.

under sun not outside. What i know is put in the sun make sure do not rain, drum must not wet dry drum better.

burn some news paper and put it underneath the drum, my groups has a couple of old drums and thats what we do to tighten them up. Burn it until the sound of the drum is good. its loose because of the moisture.

keep it closed. it depends on how big your drum is. We have a pretty big drum so about 5 sheets of news paper and if it still doesnt sound right, we add more. Just keep an eye on it.

yeah..after Bun Dian there was a glitch- its no mistake..this is Siow Sifu..you can carefully watch the cymbal players they glitch in the film, and its probably just the sound waves that affect the camera..if you know lion dance the drum can send off car alarms and cause glitches in recording cameras etc if its too close to the base.

Si fu hadnt played with these guys as a group in a long time. Kong Fook is his disciple on the Gong from Khuan Loke who came over with him, Lam is in the red shirt who moved to bris from Khuan Loke and charles is in the black shirt. It was a freestyle where they just gave a demo of all the testings and a couple of variations. Love to see one of you guppies pull it off better!
