i would understand the fact that you are not an atheist and why. religion is more of knowing the evidence and just following the pathway. BUT i believe you are confused, maybe cause the belief complex or complicated?? i am not sure because i do not know much about you. I can not even begin to express how amazing God is. Last year at summer camp my life got changed and it was a sudden thing. u know. I mean, before camp I was into drinking and just really unhealthy things and I went to camp with my church and God saved me, And i know now it was the best thing I ever did. God is an amazing person. He can do amazing things in people.
A lot of nice words that make you feel real good, but where is the Doctrine? It comes close and "what do I know of Holy" is a question that we Christians should all ask ourselves but if you want to find true doctrine you have to fill in the blanks yourself. This leaves the message open to theological interpretation. Don't get me wrong it is a nice song, and I am sure the singer, song writer & musicians are sincere. I suppose I will get negative comments from people who like this song. Oh Well.

What do i know of Holy is a great question. Professing that He is The "I AM", that all is true and we need a savior because of being dead to sin is how we answer the call He gives to us. God really spoke to me through this song a month ago. I never even heard of the band Addison Road. It was at the valley of a 5-year long struggle, painful journey where my life has been upside down. God found me (again), reclaimed me, and has embraced me with His boundless love, grace and mercy. Glory be to you, O Lord. Amen.

When people asked me if i was christian i would say "yes i am" but after i went a church weekend away trip i relly new that god was there this place really touched me and now i can say i am achristian and really know i am and i have all my pasters and counselers and everyone tht helped me to thank and also god he lifted me off the ground and said u can do this. No one can go through life alone and no matter wat ur sitouation is god is their his is ur father and if u dont have a dad u have god!

So inspirational. We will be doing this song at my church sunday to set the tone of the message! I can't wait to share the message of this song to our church family! We are often inquisitive about God... he's mysterious, yet great and mighty at the same time. And loves us like no human being ever will! It's amazing to just wonder what do we know of holy? How do we know to follow in His footsteps? We won't always know.. but just the fact that God sent his son to die for our sins should be enough!

I can not even begin to express how amazing God is. Last year at summer camp my life got changed and it was a sudden thing. u know. I mean, before camp I was into drinking and just really unhealthy things and I went to camp with my church and God saved me, And i know now it was the best thing I ever did. God is an amazing person. He can do amazing things in people.

A lot of nice words that make you feel real good, but where is the Doctrine? It comes close and "what do I know of Holy" is a question that we Christians should all ask ourselves but if you want to find true doctrine you have to fill in the blanks yourself. This leaves the message open to theological interpretation. Don't get me wrong it is a nice song, and I am sure the singer, song writer & musicians are sincere. I suppose I will get negative comments from people who like this song. Oh Well.

@mortsey this song is probably her 'opinion' or perhaps what she / the band thought God laid on their heart. I don't think her intent was to disceminate doctrine (teaching). What do i know of Holy is a great question. As a Biblical literature major i'd love to try and answer it - but i appreciate the song / question because it has the effect of leaving us in awe of an awesome God.

When I first heard it I thought 'That song is gonna do something, whether it be change lives or make it to the top 5 of christian contemporary music its gonna do something BIG.' I love this song so much. It is so simple, but incredibly powerful at the same time. God has truly used the members of Addison Road as great witnesses. This is most likely my favorite worship song. This song speaks to people in ways that they didn't even know they could have been spoken to. God is powerful, no doubt about it.

really can we ever even begin to know as much as we want to know about this Lord of ours who knows us better than we know ourselves even the very hairs on our heads are numbered. What do we know of our father that he doesn't choose to let us know and who can be satisfied with what they know about him once they have a hunger for him? this song breaks my heart cause I want to know much more than I already know and I fail because other stuff gets in the way, yet he loves me still. @3DxNick Read Ezekiel 36:24-29. This is a promise and explanation of salvation and His works. Yahweh, the Father, reigns this earth from Heaven, where He dwells. He sends His Spirit to us, whom dwells in us, according to the will of The Father. Professing that He is The "I AM", that all is true and we need a savior because of being dead to sin is how we answer the call He gives to us. Jesus made it real clear :"repent and be baptized" Blessings.

God really spoke to me through this song a month ago. I never even heard of the band Addison Road. It was at the valley of a 5-year long struggle, painful journey where my life has been upside down. God found me (again), reclaimed me, and has embraced me with His boundless love, grace and mercy. Glory be to you, O Lord. Amen.

"I knew all the stories and i learned to talk about how you were mighty to save but those were only empty words on a page" That line really speaks to me. I want to be a full time missionary. I really learned about this just recently. God really showed himself to me. He showed me exactly how much he loves me and has spoken to me through His word. Its amazing how much I learn when I actually pay attention to Him.
