I love this movie but it's a little sad. This shows really how hard gymnastics is but I've never seen a figure skating movie that shows how hard figure skating is. I figure skate and I can spend an entire month, skating twice a week for an hour each learning a very simple trick, while in the movies she's got a triple lutz down in a week. I appreciate the director of this film though!

thats because she will spend about 7 hours a day EVERY DAY doing gymnastics. remember how joanns mom said she was a 24 hour gymnast? Haley is too. You can learn stuff in a week if you spend 7-8 hours a day on it. and she already knew how to do all of this stuff, she had to RElearn it.
