@darktigerx no it doesn't unfortunately :/ you have to position it at an angle in front of the screen to either the left or right of you. left side if your right handed, and right side if your left handed.

@darktigerx you place it at a 45 deg angle in front of the screen to the side so if you use your right hand , you place it off to the right front of the screen so your not in the way.

because you calibrate the screen to the pen, it works it out for you no matter where you put it.

like using a light on a stage, its not where the camera is, but on the roof, but the camera sees the light.

I got a very important question. Thx a lot for explaining. I got EVERTHING WORKING. THE CALIBRATION WORKED. BUT THE MOST WEIRD PART, after calibration, i couldnt move anything wit the IR pen. HELP!!!  THe software even recongnizes my IR pen and the WII Mote. During and even after Calibration but when i try to use the pen to move stuff in my window, it doesnt work.

@zyxy3k it could be that your pen may be flickering ir light instead of a consistant output making it kinda hop around when draging. try adding another batery to your pen so it gets more power and the remote can see it better. and most importaintly, make sure all connections in the pen are solid. like the wiring to the battery could be loosely taped to it. see if any of that helps
