  • @ssiso8

    LOL

oh ok. Because of our eyes..... Gee. How nice of them... Now my eyes

    feel a whole lot better

  • @Linux4UnMe I said that cuz honestly I love it this way :D

  • "My Bad... I didn't notice it in Gnome Before... Only noticed it in Linux Mint."

    Gnome Before...

    Ubuntu Before...

  • @Sepero1

    eh?

  • @Linux4UnMe

In your video description, you wrote that you didn't notice it in "Gnome Before".

I think you meant to say, you didn't notice it in "Ubuntu Before".

  • @Sepero1

ahhh. Nar. It is on All Gnome Distro's ;)

  • @Linux4UnMe

Ah, I see. In the video you said this option wasn't in Ubuntu. I thought you were correcting yourself in the video description, but that in your correction, you accidentally put "Gnome" instead of "Ubuntu".

    no worries

  • @Sepero1

haha, well yeah. I didn't realise it was in Ubuntu, I thought it was only Mint.... but then I realised I had it in other Gnome Distro's aswell.... So it's a Gnome specific feature. I wonder when they added it...... could of been there for years and i didn't realise. haha

  • @Linux4UnMe yeah,this is in ubuntu

  • nice tip mate !! thanks :)

  • Cardapio is pretty good as a menu since you can access more than one folder.

  • It's in Ubuntu. Just tried it.

  • @waynefoutz

yeah I double checked on ArchLinux and it was there. My mistake

  • i got a question. where did you get that flash video that you have on your desktop?

in mint 10 and ubuntu 10.10 they changed the cache folder where firefox and chrome stored the flash videos and now i can't find them.. :(

  • @elnegrobembon /tmp

  • @FeelItRising

    no, not anymore

  • @Linux4UnMe My Flash must be old then.

  • @elnegrobembon

Yeah I noticed that and havn't had a chance to look into it yet.... in Arch it still works in /tmp. But in Ubuntu/Mint etc I just use "youtube-dl" to download Flash videos from youtube. I'll do a video when i figure out what happened with /tmp

  • @Linux4UnMe

yea, thanx man. i'd appreciate that. i have download helper for FF, but sometimes i forget because i just like using the /tmp folder better for some reason.. lookin forward for that vid..

  • I like the default Mint theme.

  • I did a video on this in Ubuntu a few months ago ;) Love it!

  • @UbuntuHelpGuy

oh cool. I only noticed this feature like... a couple weeks ago. LoL. Didn't know Ubuntu had it too

  • THAT IS SO COOL 20+

  • oh and it is in Ubuntu....

  • @FeelItRising

is it really? I have never noticed it before.... I'll have to install Ubuntu again to look. lol

  • @Linux4UnMe I began thinking after I posted. It may have been added after I installed elementary.

  • I liked the new look........still hate mintmenu though

  • @FeelItRising

I don't mind MintMenu... it's not bad. Way better than Kde's Kickoff in my opinion. But I prefer the basic Gnome Menu. Just wish it had a search function though
