Well over 30 years ago.......after calling KJLH to find out who was singing this the first time I heard it in the weeeeee hours of the morning and he couldn't find it, to then jumping in the car and driving across town to the station, the DJ let us go through all the "records" scattered and stacked all over the floor until we found it..

30 years ago I used to cry my eyes out [regularly!] to the song "Special to me" by "Perry and Sandman?!" [as I thought these artists were called]. Never found the song! TODAY! I - just by coincidence - found out that their correct names are "Perry & Sanlin"! I am sooo happy!!! Phil Perry has a dynamic voice and vocal range....No one is quite like him, There hasn't been a voice like his since he came along, the only one that resembles him is the late GREAT Billy Stewert, who has a similar vocal style
