i was curious to see if Andrew Jackson Jihad was better than Frank, it sounds like someones choking a very annoying chicken but if thats what you prefer then by all means go for it. :P
@AnarchistCommunity all music has a message, i guess folk can be more to the point, but all music has a message not just one type of genre. You should widen the range of music you listen to.
@D4N13Lf00 Um lol, the only thing i don't listen to is modern pop and "emo honestly thats it, i even listen to old 40's music and tribal stuff. What I mean is ( in my important ) an important message, and stuff about sex, booze, fighting and being broke just aint good enough for me lyrically. Theres a difference between complaining, mentioning, and revolting.

Honestly music does have the message but what really matters in the first place is the sound, i just cant really sit and listen to folk (thats just me though) well except for maybe Bob Dylan.
@D4N13Lf00 Well folk tends to have social/political lyrics, seemingly mostly left winged, or straight up anarcho. Of course that could just be my range of folk that I listen to speaking. But there also tends to be a more, idk how to say it, poetic/earthy, lyrical writing in folk music, as apposed to many of the harder bands who don't seem to put as much thought into the lyrics themselves, not always the case though.
