@DFiscus1 sorry to just be answering this now. his name is barry hudson, he's a trumpet player, and i believe he marched star of indiana from '85 to '89, he has a solo at the beginning of one of the songs of the porgy and bess show if you can find it anywhere online. now he's a high school band director in massachusetts, and he's a hell of a guy to play under

One of the most memorable momnts of my life! I marched Crown and aged-out this past summer and sitting inside their circle was a dream come true! So I guess I Wished Upon the right star that day haha!
