Some lolis stop dressing (sweet anyway) lolita and move to aritocrat at the age of about 21-26, but not everyone. Some loli mothers dress their children loli. So I guess the age range would be 5 and up.

There's nothing poser-ish about being a lolita if you're Caucasian. If you think about the history of lolita, it originates from the French rococo period. and last time I checked... they were white. Japanese girls don't feel like they're posers being lolita, ko-gal or manba in the 90's, or even today's gyaru though they're wearing western influenced clothes. I don't really think the Japanese girls care if we're not Asian? as long as we wear it well i think it's fine!
