They couldn't see it because it was pitch dark, they had no binoculars, and they were in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. No one made the ship run into the iceberg. It is kinda scary when you think about it. Usually I don't care a bout "Superstition" like that but the evidence and facts are right there in front of us.
Such a magestic ship and such a tragic ending. 1500 people had to die to learn the lesons that should have been common knowledge.
Now she sits at her grave with those 1500 people. 1500 people that didnt have to die. Its beyond words...
I still think of the movie where the ship is sinking and the woman tucks her kids in for the last time. It makes me want to cry. Not a lot does that to me.

in addition to that: men weren't allowed to take seat into the lifeboats...even lifeboats went away with 30 of 80 passengers... just sad :(
