The movie was good. The song is AWESOME. Jerry's voice, with a steel guitar and a banjo.......... PRICELESS. Unless he's a great actor, I believe Jerry actually KNEW how to drive an 18-wheeler.

Being an original Elvis fan I first heard of Jerry Reed through an anecdote from him.He heard Jerry Reeds song 'guitar man' and was blown away by it. He promptly hired Jerry to play on his probably more famous version. What a picker. Theres also Great footage of Jerry and Glen Campbell up on youtube somewhere.
