@NeilThompson it was earlier for me about 69 it was a great time there were lots of good bands on round that time. t rex, free, curved air, jefferson airplane, jethro tull.etc etc im pleased i was around then much better than now
@M4DDISON - Got most of the Free gig there in February 1970 on CD - incredible -I'd love to have been at that one - I'm 52 and went there 73 and 74 - saw Lizzy, Groundhogs, Nazareth etc - the last time we went was UFO in 74 - when we came out we got chased down the ramp bit and my Dad was pulling up in his car at the same time - we jumped in and they were kicking the car as we drove off!
A 5 star song: Out Demons Out - Edgar Broughton Band [Warwick, England]- 1970 - ""AMG Pick. ...'Out Demons Out' established itself as the Edgar Broughton Band's all-consuming anthem. ...is cast as an excorcism of greed, guns, and government, fueled by some inspired freakbeat guitar passages." - Out Demons Out - The Best Of [Import Holland] (EMI Harvest)-2001. NOTE: Don't forget to check out 'The Deviants'-1967 that's a similar band.
Anyone got anything from the PARLEVOU ENGLISH album? Brought out as the BROUGHTONS:))

I was at the Temple in Wardour St when the police raided the place. They put this record on and everyone chanted the chorus.
Either that or I imagined the whole thing.
