my chinchilla eats dried carrots a lot quicker than this, in a sort of frenzied way, he goes crazy for them. This cage does not look suitable for chinchillas, plastic and plastic coated metal are not suitable materials for them to be exposed to, their shelves should be made of edible untreated wood and cage metal should not have a coating.
