Later in the match the idea popped in my head of how great a Sharpshooter vs. Texas Cloverleaf submission match would have been between the two. Not for a title but just the climax of a good feud.

to think this took place at the height of WWE's Attitude when Raw was kicking Nitro's ass. This match alone should have given Nitro the highest ratings ever. What a masterpiece. The 2 greatest technical wrestlers in history putting on a clinic. I hope Dean comes back at least once to go against Kurt Angle or HBK.

Haha...seriously...Dean was a great talent but that's where it ended for him. Deal with it. Him coming back to wrestle Angle and HBK is useless because it wouldn't draw. Yes it would have been good but not even close to being main event worthy these days. His best bet to come back as an in ring talent would be to help out younger guys like Samoa Joe, Frankie Kazarian and AJ in TNA with their in ring work. In WWE CM Punk. Same as Regal/Finlay do with younger talent these days.
