Not to be rude, but this McCullough bloke is too pro-American (uber patriotic) to write good, objective history. His 1776 book was a comic quite frankly.

I am fascinated with this man! Mr. McCullough is such an inspiration for me. I wish him many many more years of life so that we can enjoy his contributions to American history and humanity in general! Thanks for sharing this interview!
