  • K. What the hell was that. I've been irish dancing for 12 years. We do not skip , leap, point, slice, jump, or dance like that. AT ALL. This is actually insulting. I fee llike they're making fun of it.

  • No this isn't Irish dance that for sure. And yes there are a TON of stereotypes... but they make it look good!!!

  • None of these young girls believes she is doing authentic step dancing. Most have extensive training -- years and years of tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, modern and contemporary, obviously grounded in classical ballet. Step dancing is wonderful, difficult and exciting. But it is not the only valid form of dance. And it seems from the two step dancers' comments here that step dancing has either produced or attracted two insecure people.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA. What exactly were they interpreting? Bootleg Rockettes and every Irish dance stereotype they've encountered?

  • These tap dancers (who also take ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz) are doing an interpretive dance to Irish step music, not trying to do step dancing. Their unison is pretty impressive.

  • oh come on! ^^ get a teacher
